Peter Rushton addresses the 2023 Heritage and Destiny meeting
Peter Rushton – assistant editor of Heritage and Destiny and blogger at realhistory.info – gives the closing speech at the 2023 H&D meeting in Preston. Peter explains who the real "terrorists" are, and exposes their connections to the same establishment and 'antifa' organisations that sought to impede this year's meeting; the same sinister forces that pulled the strings behind UK border security to harass fellow speaker Isabel Peralta. Paying tribute to the four men honoured at this year's event – Derek Beackon, Andrew Brons, Sir Oswald Mosley, and Ian Stuart – Peter emphasised that our enemies' fear is a sign that the flame of European nationalism burns brightly in 2023. As Sir Oswald Mosley told his followers: "Together in Britain we have lit a flame that the ages shall not extinguish. Guard that sacred flame, my brother Blackshirts, until it illumines Britain and lights again the path of mankind."

Speaking at the 2022 H&D Memorial Meeting for Richard Edmonds, Colin Jordan, and John Tyndall.
H&D's European correspondent Isabel Peralta was on the front line at the barricades in Madrid tonight, as patriots gathered to oppose the treacherous and squalid parliamentary deal concocted by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, offering an amnesty to subversive Catalan politicians so as to win their votes in Parliament. The farce of Spain's 'democratic' 1978 constitution has been exposed. This is a full hour of footage from the demonstration: edited highlights and reports will follow later.
Viewers should bear in mind that this was a broadly based demonstration against the government's amnesty deal: therefore many of the placards etc did not necessarily represent the views of Isabel Peralta or H&D.
Madrid history student and co-founder of a Spanish nationalist youth group, who during the past year has become an internet sensation. Now European correspondent for ‘Heritage and Destiny’ and campaigner for historical truth in Spain and across Europe.

Laura Towler, from Patriotic Alternative, spoke at the 2023 Heritage & Destiny meeting, honouring Sir Oswald Mosley's political legacy, 75 years after the foundation of Mosley's postwar Union Movement. Some of us at H&D knew veteran Mosleyites, and we are certain that they (and especially Lady Mosley) would have been very happy to know that Laura, her husband Sam, and the PA team are advancing the patriotic cause in 2023!

Jeremy Corbyn – known for decades as terrorism's best friend in Parliament – has this week joined the "anti-fascist" campaign against Heritage and Destiny and our European correspondent Isabel Peralta. This BBC documentary (broadcast in 2013), for which H&D staff provided research assistance, shows that the militant anti-fascist group Red Action was implicated in the Warrington bombing that killed two children. Red Action used to provide personal security for Corbyn and his close ally, IRA godfather Gerry Adams, and held its committee meetings inside Corbyn's constituency office. Two senior Red Action and Anti-Fascist Action organisers carried out an IRA bombing at the Harrods store in London. A senior police officer has said that Corbyn "knew they were open supporters of terrorism and he supported them".
Eighty years after the heroic stand of the Blue Division (División Azul) at the Battle of Krasny Bor, near Leningrad, in February 1943, Isabel Peralta visited the Division's monument at the Almudena cemetery in Madrid to pay tribute to their memory. This video is posted with English subtitles so that international viewers can better understand the controversial relationship between history and politics in today's Spain, where even after passage of a new 'democratic memory law', commemorations and speeches of this type remain legal (even though in some other European countries they would be illegal).
Dr James Lewthwaite, retired archaeology lecturer and chairman of the British Democrats, addresses the 2023 Heritage and Destiny meeting in Lancashire. Dr Lewthwaite's speech was based around an analysis of Professor Nigel Biggar’s new book Colonialism: A Moral Reckoning – which was reviewed in Issue 115 of H&D. Jim talked about the positive side of the British Empire, as well as slavery and how the British were the first of the major powers of the time to ban it. The British Democrats are now beginning to attract significant numbers of experienced activists as well as those new to electoral politics. Despite disappointing council election results earlier this year, they are presently the main electoral force on the British nationalist scene.
