Controversial LGBT parade leads to clashes and arrests in Serbia
An LGBT march has gone ahead in the Serbian capital Belgrade, despite being mired in controversy. Saturday’s ‘EuroPride March’ had initially been banned, but this was lifted at the last minute by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, leading to some 10,000 people taking part according to local media estimates.
The planned route was shortened considerably however, given the large numbers of protesters also in attendance. Conservative demonstrators lined the route, with some throwing stun grenades, stones and flares at security personnel, leading to 64 arrests.
Many economists use the idea of cycles to understand trends in money, and how new technology has transformed how we spend and save. Dominic Frisby looks at developments of the past and asks if we could be on the cusp of a new cycle led in by #crypto.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has been spitting some facts in the direction of Washington, after the US State Department accused his government of human rights abuses.
Asked by a reporter at a press briefing about the accusations, Obrador slammed the accusations saying ‘It’s not true. They're liars’.
‘It’s not worth getting angry about’, he added, before pulling a reverse Uno card at them on several topics including Nord Stream, fentanyl, and the Donald Trump arrest saga.

The scene for the matrimonial violence was Newport, Rhode Island, where the peaceful drunken singing and trying to make out with the bridesmaids was upended by a group of apparently uninvited guests trying to gain access to the reception. After the cops were called, the situation deteriorated faster than the bride’s makeup after the third glass of wine.
Having already tried to punch an employee at the venue and brutally shoving another, the chief of the uninvited guests was being cautioned by police when his wife and friends decided to surround the cops. The wife appeared to lose her balance and fall (we wonder why) while being told to keep back, which was the spark for this marriage between alcohol and confusing violence.
Slapping, punching, gun grabbing, a bloody nose, a knockout blow to the jaw and a good, old-fashioned groin kicking were just some of the highlights of the brawl, which resulted in six arrests and two of the guests being taken to hospital. All six guests will now have the opportunity to say ‘I do,’ although the question will be ‘do you plead guilty to making the bride’s wedding night memorable for all the wrong reasons?’

Chennai, India witnessed the bizarre sight of countless tiny, spiky bois washing up on the sand, after flooding and an industrial oil spill. Blue button jellyfish and blue sea dragons washed ashore in their hundreds, according to a local environmentalist, who says some were alive, but most had washed up dead.
While strange, this is not a unique occurrence. Disruption to the sea bed means creatures do become displaced once in a while, and blue sea dragons in particular have been sighted before.
While undoubtedly interesting and cute, locals have been warned not to touch the arrivals. Contact with a sea dragon can cause a painful rash, while jellyfish are, well, jellyfish.
