X Plane 11 hardest airports to land at include Madeira Airport, Princess Juliana International Airport, 3 Juancho - the shortest commercial runway in the world at only 1300 ft then comes St Bartholomew IS which needs no introduction for sure. There are some famously hard airports to land at in the world so we are visiting five to test my flying skills. Its steep approach is famous. The final and the most difficult is located in the mountains of Nepal at 10,500 Ft and this little beauty is ....Lukla Airport, Nepal. The challenge of density altitude really makes it hard to control and stop the Baron 58 in time. Stalling is a real danger landing in the very thin air at low speed. It must be so much more difficult and you can fine actual crashes of aircraft at this airport which seems more regular than we would like. You need to try this scary airport.
