The Valley Campaign has come down to this last battle between Stonewall Jackson and Erastus B. Tyler outside the town of Port Republic. Ewell was able to manage a draw against Fremont and prevent his forces from striking Jackson via Cross Keys. And now he faces down a multiple of heavily entrenched Union battery and formidable troops in reserve. Will the ruse of moving through the woods allow the Confederates the chance to close the distance before the cannons scuttle their efforts?
