I once left the Catholic Church because I hadn't discovered Jesus' true presence in Eucharist. When I returned to the Church I still saw the Eucharist as a symbol until a friend called me on, and shared the truth. People will tell me they're no longer going to church because they're not fed by the priests sermons, etc. And I know immediately they haven't discovered that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist.
