Damn modern AC units, its a nice big unit but the electronics have failed it, like a lot of these new digital ones I find
Thanks to my friend Mark for donating a box load of goodies to make my Ford Roadworthy again!, not sure if the bundle of head bolts are a dark omen of things to come tho ;)
spares included 2 headlamp clusters, Smartlock module, 2 ignition amps, vac advance module, voltage regulator, spare Dissy, 2 hood struts, ignition coil. t'stat housing, washer bottles and header tank for rad.
should have the last 2 new tires fitted this Friday and be safe to drive then.
Extreme noise test with PVC tape on mic.
never attempt to use a Microwave transformer unless you really know what you are doing!.
I will try felt tape next.. even wrap a lot of the cam in it!
I thought the jag had fouled a plug again, till I noticed the lead off :p
Taking a look inside 4 old pool heating controllers picked out of my works trash bin
apart from the dead thermometer readout, the most simple 'jaycar kit' style controller is easily the most reliable out of the lot, because its just so simple!
Probably won't get the 1994 Isuzu NPR200, simply because its too hard to work on and accommodate it here :(
but hey, its costing little more than the ML270 did, so who knows, might be worth buying it and storing it at moms place 1 town over until I get around to fixing it.
