Several things were published under this printing label and after the success of Johnny Phantasm Whitney and Patrick Parnell, the owners and founders of Riot Press Productions, LLC, decided to make it official. Since then Riot Press has also produced other IP’s include Last of the Seekers and Ultra Star comic books. Riot has also jumped into the toy-making arena with make a 4 inch “Kenner” style Johnny Phantasm in numerous colors as well as a hand full of Fingerprint Gang Henchmen. After having great success with Riot TOYS, the group decided to flesh out another toy with fellow designer Piotr Sidork in making a “transforming” We like to call it “alternating” robot. The robot from Last of the Seekers, the space jet, is NOT the Seeker. Gotta read the comic! The Johnny Phantasm comic book is the story of a hit man turned demon mob boss. In the comic books we follow Johnny over the span of 35 years. The comics focus on his rise and fall, so to speak. The comics did performed so well that they sprung forward an action figure line with various figures. There are 7 different colors Johnny Phantasms, 4 variations of Henchmen and a sports car. We also had fun with different types of packaging and made Keshis aka “M.U.S.C.L.E.S.” as well. Most of the Riot Press’s Projects have been funded by the fans using outlets like IndieGOGO and Kickstarter. Riot Press has had very much success on both platforms. Also our toy lines have had success on various retail stores such as Big Bad Toy Store and Agabyss! The number of retailers interested in carrying Riot Toys is growing by the minute! While the making of Johnny Phantasm ,Riot Press teamed up with toy makers Toy Pizza who has helped put all 4 inch figures together from start to finish. With Toy Pizza’s attention to detail and the craft of toy making has made Johnny Phantasm the Action Figure a HIT! Riot Press had a DIY point of view when it came to packaging. Riot was able to get smaller clamshells that would fit yet could be open and closed without ruining the packaging. This has be a fruitful resource Riot Press has fun with! Riot Press had all there toys packaged in the U.S.A. The first 6 Johnny Phantasm (Waves 1 & 2) were funded on IGG until Waves 3 -4 released in 2023.
