I got one last hike in before I went back home to Vegas! This is the final video in my Moab Utah series. My hike was totally unplanned, but since I made good timing, I was able to throw this one in the mix! Delicate Arch is the most famous arch in Arches National Park. It's on the Utah license plates, and it's an amazing sight to see! This hike is labeled as moderate at a 3-mile round trip and 480 ft of elevation gain. This is a very popular hike inside the park, and it's not to be missed when visiting Arches.
Since 1986, Kenny Irwin Jr. has been building the sci-fi holiday spectacle which has turned into a year-round event viewable from the street, although it’s during the winter season that Robo Lights really comes to life with millions of lights and public access to the whole celebration.
There’s a post-apocalyptic scene with “nuclear elves” in the tennis court, and Santa’s sleigh, aka his “battle wagon,” is pulled by a team of 12 robotic reindeer, while nearby the wise men come laden with microwaves. One robot stands 50 feet tall, and others have microwaves or other bits of found materials embedded in their chests in this ever-growing alien landscape of outside art.
Let me give you a quick 2 minute tour of this awesome Christmas event!

On this adventure, I visit the Goldwell Open Air Museum and the Rhyolite Ghost Town. Both these attractions 2 hours outside of Las Vegas and right next to each other. The Goldwell Open Air Museum is a really cool outdoor sculpture garden.
Rhyolite Ghost Town with no residents for more than 100 years, dilapidated buildings in a pristine Wild West setting, and no goods or services, Rhyolite is arguably one of the best ghost towns in Nevada, making for an incredible day trip out of Las Vegas.

Well, I am back on another annual trip out to the Eastern Sierra of Central California! My first stop is at the beautiful Ancient Bristlecone Pine forest! They literally have the oldest trees in the world here! The first hike I did was the short and easy Schulman Grove Discovery Loop Trail! What an unbelievably awesome hike for being so short! The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Trees you see along this loop trail are super cool looking! This hike is definitely not to be missed when visiting the Eastern Sierra!

This beautiful waterfall is located only a 1/2 hour drive from the city of Seattle Washington! Probably one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen! It's a short walk to get to the upper falls overlooks. But to get down to the bottom falls it's a one-mile round trip hike and somewhat of a steep incline going back. It is totally worth it to see the falls from below as well. You're not able to get super close to it but close enough definitely.

This is my 2nd day Chiricahua National Monument. I start off by visiting the graves of the Erikson family who established the 1st settlement in Chiricahua. Then It's on to the Bonita Creek Trail which is a nice leisurely walk through the forest. I encounter quite a few deer on this Trail. At the end of the trail we reach the Faraway Ranch which is the Erikson family settlement. Lots of cool old houses, barns and stables. I continue on to the Silver Spur Medows Trail which is a beautiful area. At last but not least I hit the Lower Rhyolite Canyon Trail with nice views of the Canyon.

Black Mountain is an awesome hike in neighborhood of Anthem in the city of Henderson. Henderson is a suburb of Las Vegas Nevada. The hike is 6 miles round trip and roughly 2000 ft' of elevation gain so this is a strenuous hike but totally worth it. The trail is totally covered in giant black lava rocks and you have amazing views of the Las Vegas Valley including the strip the whole way up. When you finally reached the top you are greeted with the American flag and 360 views of the entire Las Vegas metro area! This is my video vlog of this hike and I show you what to expect if you do this trail one day. If you live in the Las Vegas area or just visiting this is definitely a good one to hit!
