Mark Baker has taken on Michigan Department of Natural Resources in order to protect small farmers rights to raise and eat beyond organic foods. The State of Michigan and Attorney General Bill Schuette levied a $700,000 fine on Bakers Green Acres for raising a heritage breed of pig the Mangalista/Mangalitiza pigs. The questions is, Why would the State of Michigan want to control the food you are allowed to eat?
