It is called “Mr. Global”. By “documentary mixtape”, I mean that I picked a topic I wanted to make a video about, aggregated clips about the topic, cut them up, and remixed them. The end product is something unique - a whole that emerges as more than just the sum of its parts. That's the aim, anyway. The main themes tackled here include the globalization, financialization, and the technocratization of world society. Other themes include: faith, courage, aspiration, love, beauty, and dedication. Many inspiring thinkers and observers are cited, and many wonderful clips, commentaries, and documentaries are referenced. At the end of Part 3 of this 3-Part mini-series, all the citations for all the clips and music referenced are presented (unless I forgot one by mistake). Stepping back, this documentary (“Mr. Global”, presented in 3 parts) is part of larger series of documentaries that I'm making on the grand overarching topic of: "The State of the World". Some documentaries in this series are still forthcoming; some I've already made. You can find those and more (all available openly) by visiting my website alexsachon.com.
