I helped Mom make Peanut Butter Pumpkin Dog Biscuits and they get the Drool-Worthy Stamp of Approval! Below is the recipe:
Ingredients
2 3/4 cup flour (additional flour for kneading dough)
2/3 cup pumpkin
3 tablespoons peanut butter
2 eggs (beaten)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/3 cup buttermilk or may substitute with another liquid such as milk or water)
Preheat over 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Dough should form. Add liquid of choice to mixture until dough forms. Don't add too much or it will be very sticky. If you happen to make it too sticky just add additional flour until the dough dries where it can be rolled out without sticking to rolling pin. Roll dough about 1/2 inch thick and then cut with small biscuit cutter or cookie cutters. Place on cookie sheet and cook in preheated over for 40 - 45 mins. They should be a golden brown and hard. Cook a little longer if needed. I store in the fridge after making but can be stored at room temp for 3 - 4 days.

Originally posted to YouTube on 4-28-21. I spelled Splishing wrong in the video. I am aware of that. I suffer from Covid brain. At our country home I always took lots of nature photos and videos. I haven't been doing that much since moving to our home within the city limits. Although, we seem to have more birds over here than we did in the country. I have to refill the bird feeders every 3 or 4 days. And I refill the bird bath daily because they splish and splash all the water out of it. This episode features a female Northern Cardinal, a couple of male American Robin's, and a Common Grackle. Enjoy the 1st episode of the Lake Hill City Birds.
