We're back to SAD (Sierra Army Depot) and going into the depths...to find the central supercomputer that may or may not know the origins of what triggered the apocalypse. But it might have other plan for us before revealing any of its closely guarded secrets.

Amid all the effort to shore up the militia and build up both in finances and merc strength, a squad is hastily set up among the Mercs at Alma to advance to Balime. Meanwhile another squad is to drive a truck full of arms and goods for trading at San Mona. The plan seems to start off promising, but will the mercs be able to keep up the pace amid all this Army still crawling all over the countryside?

The Queen is now cornered and trapped in her own sector, and the mercs have time to prepare for the final assault. They need to recoup and heal, and get reequipped with as much armament as possible. The legwork for the final firework begins...with some inventory management, including perhaps the most expensive gun in Jagged Alliance 2.

The mercs finally(?) can take some well-deserved breather at Grumm, but there's no rest for Raider in his effort to 'help' the overworked miners down in the mines. The Army is still continuing to harass Balime, but the mercs now have some dependable allies in militia to cover for them. But there comes a point where they have to take the matter in their own hands!

With the strength of Queen's counterattack toward Balime clear as day, the mercs have no choice but to retreat to the town's eastern sector for some regrouping, including purchasing medicine and weapons. They then hunker in the area's largest structure and lie in wait, at least they won't be too bored...meanwhile, the squad from SAM site carrying all sorts of deadweight rendezvous with Reaper before setting up defense of sorts in the rocky outcroppings beside the patrol route of the enemy. A fight soon erupts and it's time for Reaper to show his very apparent skills.
