The Health Minister will make inquiries into the Queensland Government's decision to block a sick baby and his parents from returning home from Sydney to their remote property.
Four month old Rocka suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 and travelled with his family to Sydney to undergo treatment last month before borders closed.
Rocka's Mother Jesse told Paul Murray the Queensland government has advised the baby return to Brisbane to isolate at a local hospital while Rocka's father undergoes hotel quarantine.
After hearing Rocka's story, Health Minister Greg Hunt told Paul Murray he will be taking up the decision with the Queensland government and encouraging them to reverse it.
