Jewelry shop owner burglarized, but the community helped him restore it
People often say “doing good deeds brings good rewards”. This couldn’t be more apparent in the case of David Truong, the beloved owner of Mimi’s Jewelry in Fountain Valley.
In 2015, Mimi’s Jewelry shop was brutally burglarized. It was the most devastating event that had happened to his family business.
Much to his surprise though, not only did the shop not close down, but the community came to support him now more than ever before.
David will share with us the inside story of how he came to realize that this miraculous recovery has a lot more to do with the altruistic nature of his business than just serving the community.
