Personal preference, I guess. Surprisingly (again) I didn't find a reasonable lesson for it on YT either, so put this one together - it's a LOT of fun! Basically, the guitar is tuned to open D configuration, but tuned way down so I can sing to it without suffering a hernia. Of course, you can pitch it wherever you like. In the video the tuning is C-G-C-E-G-C There aren't really any chords - it's very fluid and changes from alternating bass to single string runs as it moves through the song.
