Christian Discusses Faith with a Muslim and Former Satanist... (I did not expect this.)
16,468 views Jul 20, 2023 I've never done anything like this before. We went to a faith-based event to do on the spot interviews, and there was nothing that prepared me for our first interaction.
FYI: Because this was our first ever attempt, we had some troubleshooting with the audio and video quality. I'm so glad it turned out how it did, considering the camera was very slightly out of focus. Because of the spiritual nature of the exchange, I felt it was proper to be more candid in our conversation. I'm surprised that this was their first time hearing of some of this. Join me in praying for these men!

I uploaded this on my channel earlier this year, but I decided to re-upload it in memory of a friend that suddenly and shockingly passed away. I reflected and prayed on the tragedy and the aftermath and decided to write this to reach others and let them know that if there’s anyone out there that has these dark struggles- that there’s hope. True hope that doesn’t fade or let you down. You’re not alone. Jesus didn’t come to Earth to not know how it feels to be human. God became His creation. He’s not a god that is far away, far from suffering and human pain. He entered into this mess, and He’s in your mess. No matter what you’ve done He loves and will forgive you. It’s not an empty victory, filled with endless desolate affirmations and a god that doesn’t know how to handle our mountain of sin or doesn't care about your pain. This is what true victory looks like.
In many ways I wanted this to demonstrate the Old and New Covenants. God became His own creation to pay the just penalty for sin that we could never pay. He took our place, the righteous for the unrighteous. *This* is the atonement. I mean... wow. "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."- 2 Corinthians 5:21.
I filmed this with three different cameras, over six hours of footage. The editing itself was a total rollercoaster, wild and unpredictable. To me, the video is just as much art as the painting itself. I hope you all enjoy it. I worked very hard on it.

Greg Koukl sits down with me to talk about his 10th anniversary edition release of his updated and expanded book, Tactics. This is one of my favorite books to recommend! Greg is no stranger to apologetics or the Bible. in his book, Greg shows how to "artfully regain control of conversations, keeping them moving forward in constructive ways through thoughtful diplomacy. You'll learn how to stop challenges in their tracks and how to turn the tables on questions or provocative statements. Most important, you'll get people thinking about Jesus."
Learn how to 'put a stone in someone's shoe.' I know you'll be blessed by this interview.

In my early days of ministry, waaaaay before the Tubes of You, I used to frequent many events that surrounded the Mormon religion. Visiting the Mormon church (ward) is one of them. I visit places like this often for research, to avoid echo chambers, and to learn more about the religion. This is my third visit, and it was different than the other times. It was.... interesting.

This interview is a little different.
In this video, I interview Dallas Jenkins. Dallas is the director of The Chosen, a very popular Christian tv series that continues to grow with incredible momentum. With momentum and popularity comes controversy, and The Chosen has been no exception. In this video, Dallas and I discuss some of that controversy. We discuss his convictions, beliefs, and talk about some tough stuff too, in particular the controversy he's gotten for his association with the LDS. And yes, we spoke many times about this through email before the interview so he wasn't blindsided. This was a very mutual conversation. Much of the controversy comes from him sharing publicly that he believes that LDS and Christians believe in the 'same Jesus,' which is a salvific issue. If anyone has talked with a senior LDS or your friendly local Missionaries that knows what the LDS Church teaches and the doctrine then you'll know why this is so problematic.
For as long as this interview was, we did still discuss some of this 'tough stuff' off air as well. I'm positive there will be controversy from LDS and Christians over this, one side saying I 'misrepresent' LDS beliefs (check out the receipts below please, and if you disagree with what the LDS Church teaches... um... that's not a bad thing lol) and the other side upset that I'm simply even interviewing Dallas, or that I didn't harshly rebuke him or something. Just know that this video easily could have gone three times as long and I hope it lays a good foundation for this situation.
Do I agree with some of Dallas's conclusions? No.
Do I lovingly challenge him on this? Yes.
Does he welcome and want these challenges? Yes.
Do I agree with other conclusions? Yes.
Do I lovingly agree with him on these things? Yes.
This conversation hopefully will help everyone know where Dallas stands with these issues that we talked about. Please pray for Dallas and for everyone on the set of The Chosen.

Micah Wilder was raised a faithful Latter-Day Saint, or LDS which some people might know better as ‘Mormon’. He is a co-founder of Adams Road ministry, a music ministry that is performed at over 1000 churches across the U.S. He briefly attended Brigham Young University, and at the age of 19 went on a two year mission in Florida for the Mormon church. In this short clip, Micah describes how reading the Bible alone was the foundation for him seeing the error in the LDS Church and the Book of Mormon.

According to a recent survey, one-third of non-religious GenZers and young millennials believe in alternate spirituality, whether it's New Age or Progressive Christianity.

I interviewed my friend Frank Turek about his new book he wrote with his son Zach Turek called Hollywood Heroes. With some interest in the uniqueness of the book and some candid questions, (even some pushback!) I hope you all find this interview to be insightful. Considering my audience, I understand and respect that there are many who don't agree with using anything from Hollywood as an example for the Gospel, especially some characters referenced in this book. I would encourage you- whether you agree or not- to at least read the book to understand how these references are being used, and then offer valuable feedback. I am here to learn, too, and value thoughts and feedback.

I’m going to give you some core differences between the type of love we see expressed in society, the culture and world compared to the love that is taught in the Bible. A surprising twist has to do with the endgame of how love has been distorted in the name of happiness.
