Once you meet Mr. Fuji at the top of the Pokémon Tower, he will return to his house in Lavender Town. Meet him at his house and he will offer you a Poké Flute. A Poké Flute will awaken any sleeping Pokémon. If you see a sleeping Pokémon blocking the way, use this item to awaken it. You may want to save your game first before you do this. When you use the Poké Flute, the Pokémon that wakes up will be identified as Snorlax. Snorlax is on Level 30. This one will be pretty hard to capture so lower its HP then try using status problem moves, like paralysis. When Snorlax uses Rest, it will use the Chesto Berry it holds to wake up immediately for one time. There are 2 Snorlax available in Kanto. One is west from Celadon City on Route 16 and the other one is east from Vermilion City on Route 12.
