Although their individual backgrounds are different, the feeling one gets from watching this lot live is that they have a lot of fun doing what they do. The music is a curious blend of varying styles -- loud punk and heavy hard rock, world music rhythms and groove laden metal, shoved into a blender to give something which shouldn't really work but is surprisingly effective. The band recorded their self titled debut album in 2012, following the amazing reception to 2010 EP Diaspora. There is no bullshit here. No make-up, no space suits, no high street haircuts -- just honesty and hard graft with a large dose of originality. There are not a lot of bands out there doing anything different these days and these guys bring something unique to the table. This lot are f*cking brilliant and worth your while.
