This is video #024 in my playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for the Nintendo Wii U.

Previously, Link explored the Tower of the Gods. He learned the Command Melody, earned the Hero's Bow, and defeated the boss, Gohdan. Afterwards, he and the King of Red Lions took the portal to Hyrule Castle, somehow preserved deep beneath the waves. Link must now explore the castle and find a power critical to defeating Ganon.
Hyrule Castle:
Link resumes where he arrived by the pool in the courtyard. A brief scene takes place when he enters the castle hall. Plenty of Moblins and Darknuts are here, but they are frozen. Link runs around and gets some arrow refills.
The downstairs door leads out to a bridge. However, Link has no business out here right now.
Back inside, when Link approaches a large space on the ground floor, the King of Red Lions will call Link through the Pirate's Charm and tell him about a puzzle. Link will have to move some triangle blocks into place over the faint Triforce symbol. When the blocks are in place, a secret stairway will be revealed.
Link goes down the stairway to the basement. When he approaches the pedestal, the King of Red Lions has a few words for him.
Link approaches the Master Sword. A scene takes place as he pulls it out. Oh boy ... it looks like leaving is not going to be as easy as entering. Link now has the Master Sword!
When Link ascends the stairway to the castle hall, a brief scene takes place. He now has to take out a bunch of Moblins and Darknuts before he can escape, as the doors are blocked by laser barriers. It is best to try to fight them one at a time, if possible. Now that Link has the Master Sword, these foes will go down a bit quicker. This is also a decent time to snag Skull Necklaces from Moblins and Knight's Crests from Darknuts.
After Link has finally defeated all the enemies, the barriers blocking the exits disappear. Link heads up and out to the courtyard. He talks to the King of Red Lions. Next objective: the Forsaken Fortress! Then, Link climbs aboard and heads into the portal.
Tower of the Gods Square (time 24:09):
Link emerges in the Tower of the Gods square on the Great Sea. He saves. Then, he sets sail west to the Six-Eye Reef square.
Six-Eye Reef (time 24:04):
Link has Treasure Chart #06, found in the Compass room in the Tower of the Gods. This reveals a salvage spot in the Six-Eye Reef. It is between the southern pair of "eyes". Here, Link dredges up a chest with a Silver Rupee, worth 200 Rupees. Fantastic!
Afterwards, Link sails north to the Northern Triangle Isle square.

Previously, the party visited the village Reeve. Then, they went through the Promontory Passage to the Dreamer's Tower, where they acquired the Thief's Key. They gathered several Thief's Key treasures, including the Wrecking Ball in Reeve. They also got their first Mini Medal prize, the Thorn Whip. Now, they will seek the teleportal that will lead them off the Aliahan continent.
Aliahan:
The party resumes in Aliahan Castle. They leave the castle and exit town.
Overworld (time 0:54):
The party heads towards Reeve and then heads east. They find a hilly pass that goes south between two mountain chains.
Red the Thief reaches Level 8.
Due east of Aliahan, they find the entrance to the Little Shrine.
Little Shrine (time 3:33):
The party needs the Thief's Key to enter this shrine. A bookshelf contains a helpful book about boomerangs and whips. One pot contains Mini Medal #006. Another pot contains a Chimaera Wing.
The resident of this shrine provides information about the Wrecking Ball and where to go with it.
The party leaves the shrine.
Overworld (time 4:56):
Just north of the Little Shrine, the party finds the entrance to the Path of Promise.
Path of Promise (time 4:59):
The party has found a spring. North of the water, they find a stairway leading down into the cave itself. On B1, they find an old man.
South of the old man, they approach the wall and use the Wrecking Ball in their inventory. In a scene, the way is cleared.
Just south of the new opening, the party finds a treasure chest with a poorly spelled message. They acquire the Adventurer's Map! With this, the player can now press X to open the world map. Hm ... the layout looks vaguely familiar, huh?
The party goes downstairs to B2, a maze. They go north and take the second path to the west. This passage takes them to the northern part of the corridor. When they return to the main corridor, they continue north.
At the northern wall, they turn west. They open the chest for an Antidotal Herb.
Then, the party turns around and heads east. When they reach the northeast corner, they turn south. Then, at the southeast corner, they turn east.
When they return to the main corridor, they go a short distance north and take the next doorway leading west. The chest in this room contains a Divine Dagger. Serena the Priest equips this in place of her Copper Sword.
The party returns to the main corridor. To the north, they take the next path leading west. To the west and then north, they find a stairway leading down.
The party reaches floor B3. There are three Thief's Key doors

Previously, the party met the Espers in the Esper Cave. Back at Thamasa, there was a pleasant scene with General Leo. However, Kefka ruined it all. As the party returned to the airship, Gestahl and Kefka entered the Sealed Gate, and the Flying Continent took off. Afterwards, the party revisited Doma Castle and finally gathered the treasures there. Also, they went to the northeastern island and fought the tough Intangir for the bestiary. Now, they will do some more grinding on the Veldt so that Celes, Strago, and Relm can learn some spells from Espers, Strago can learn some Lores, and Gau can learn some more Rages.
Overworld - Veldt:
The party resumes outside Mobliz in the Veldt. The current lineup is Celes, Strago, Relm, and Gau.

Previously, Link visited the six Eye Reefs scattered around the Great Sea and found the treasures in their Treasure Charts, which were specialty charts. Now, he will gather Hero's Bow upgrades and then do some new sidequests on Windfall Island.
Windfall Island:
Link resumes on Windfall Island. He boards the King of Red Lions. Then, he conducts the Ballad of Gales and fast-travels to Mother & Child Isles.
Mother & Child Isles (time 0:54):
Link arrives at a fairy fountain in the hollow inside Mother Isle. When he comes here after completing the Forsaken Fortress, a scene takes place with the Queen of Fairies. She imbues his Hero's Bow with new powers. He can now shoot Fire Arrows and Ice Arrows! Note that it costs magic to use these functions. Even so, the queen is a bit creepy.
After exploring the hollow, Link returns to the King of Red Lions. With the Ballad of Gales, he fast-travels to Greatfish Isle.
Greatfish Isle (time 5:18):
Link sets sail northwest. He passes through the Three-Eye Reef square to the west on his way to the Western Fairy Island square.
Western Fairy Island (time 6:06):
Link lands on the island. The entrance to the fairy fountain is blocked by fire. To extinguish the flames, Link hits the switch with the Skull Hammer. Then, he goes inside.
When he approaches the fairy fountain, the Great Fairy speaks to him. She upgrades his arrow capacity to a maximum of 60.
Link goes back outside. Aboard the King of Red Lions, he conducts the Ballad of Gales to fast-travel to the Tower of the Gods.
Tower of the Gods Square (time 8:43):
Link sets sail east. He passes through the Eastern Triangle Island square on his way to the Thorned Fairy Island square.
Thorned Fairy Island (time 9:48):
After taking out a prickly enemy ship, Link lands on Thorned Fairy Island. The entrance to the fairy fountain is blocked by thorny vines. To get rid of them, Link hits the three switches with the Skull Hammer.
Afterwards, he goes inside. When he approaches the fountain, a scene takes place with the Great Fairy. She upgrades his arrow capacity to a maximum of 99. Very good! Too bad Link could not get these upgrades as soon as he got the Hero's Bow.
Outside, Link boards the King of Red Lions. With the Ballad of Gales, he fast-travels to Windfall Island.
Windfall Island (time 12:37):
Link lands at the docks and conducts the Song of Passing to make it nighttime. After saving, he heads into town. He has already gotten the Windmill to start turning, which is a prerequisite to what he is about to do.

Previously, the party explored floors B9-B11 of the Depths. They have hit the dungeon's final stretch. On B10, they battled Lunar Odin and acquired the Ragnarok. Now, the party will explore B12, gather the last treasures remaining in the Depths, and do some grinding to prepare for the final boss battle. The game's end is in sight!
Depths:
The party resumes in the northwest of floor B12 in the Depths. They backtrack upstairs to floor B11.
In the west of the northwestern section, the party opens the blue chest. It is guarded by another powerful monster-in-a-box: Lunar Leviathan. When water is gushing around Lunar Leviathan, it is preparing to devastate the party with Tidal Wave. Fortunately, there is an easy trick to this, too. Hitting Lunar Leviathan with a lightning-elemental attack will disperse the water and cancel Tidal Wave. If Edge in the party, he should equip the Boltslicer, and berserking him won't hurt. Rydia or Palom should nuke with Thundaga. The enemy can counter with Glare on a random party member, so be careful. He can also reduce the party's HP to critical with Maelstrom.
The party soon shocks Lunar Leviathan into submission. They obtain the Hero's Shield. For accomplishing this feat, the player earns the Steam achievement "Bodacious Aegis".
The Hero's Shield is magnificent. It absorbs elements of other equipped armor. Kain equips it.
The party goes back down to floor B12. They now begin exploring this level. They now begin encountering Maenads. Treat these like miniboss battles. Maenads have powerful physical and magical attacks.
Edge reaches Level 61.
In the east of the northern section, a chest contains an Elixir.
Another blue chest is in the north of the southern section. For now, the party passes it up.
They take the southern stairway down to floor B13, the game's refuge before the final boss. There are an interdimensional elevator and a save point here. Very handy indeed! I would not have objected if they had chosen to add teleporters to the final dungeon in the 3D version of Final Fantasy IV.
After resting and saving, the party backtracks up to floor B12. They open the blue chest. This one is protected by the nastiest monster-in-a-box in this game: Lunar Bahamut.
Lunar Bahamut begins by preparing Megaflare, which can immolate the entire party. Fortunately, the party can establish Reflect to bounce it back at him. We are currently grinding in previous tales in preparation for The Crystals. Previously, Edward and Harley began leveling in Edward's Tale. Edward and Harley are at Level 22. The three Guards are at Level 19.
Overworld:
The party resumes outside the town of Baron. They continue running around and hunting monsters.
Harley reaches Level 23.

Guard A, Guard B, and Guard C reach Level 20. As I was expecting, this is their level cap.

They stock up at the sundries shop and get some rest at the inn. Then, they leave town.

Previously, the party traveled south from Alfeto Valley and entered the Millick Meadows, the southernmost part of the Aetia Region. As they arrive, they automatically started "The Hillside Hulk" to investigate an old Ferronis in this area. The party explored the Kilmarris Highland and much of the Viliera Hill. They also defeated a couple of unique enemies, the Perturbed Bilkin and the Indiscreet Gombaba.
In this video, the party starts by approaching the Hillside Ferronis Hulk in the Millick Meadows for "The Hillside Hulk". First, they eliminate five Crustips infesting the ruins. In the process, they learn about luring enemies. One Crustip is an elite. There is also a Soldier's Husk in the area. After the battle, the party investigates a Container and then the power compartment.
Afterwards, the party goes southeast from the Ferronis. Below the hill, they find an Ether Channel by the path. They use it to fill a few Ether Cylinders.
Northeast of the Ether Channel, the party enters the Wraiths' Void tunnel. They follow the main path northwest and exit to the Hillside Ferronis Hulk. Beware of the path leading northeast, which leads to stronger enemies.
The party powers up the Hillside Ferronis Hulk. At the base, they open the Containers and then use the Fabricator. Afterwards, they meet Shillshill, a Nopon merchant who is totally not shady at all. From now on, Shillshill will automatically purchase the party's sell-only collectibles as they are acquired. Shillshill's Traderpon will sell accessories. This concludes "The Hillside Hulk".
The party talks to Shillshill again. He issues the quest "Nopon Register". He wants the party to find all 19 Nopon Caravans. That will take a while! Shillshill gives the party the Yellow Nopon Pebble.
The party rests at the Hillside Ferronis Hulk, triggering several cutscenes. The party gains access to the class system. The tutorial makes the player switch each party member's class and assign a master art and a master skill. At first, each party member's class selection is limited, but the options will eventually grow. The party will be locked into their new classes for a while. That's fine, since their original classes are maxed out for now.
Note that Shillshill has given the party a Collectopaedia Card.
The party sets out and explores the areas south of the Hillside Ferronis Hulk.
In the southern part of the stream, they find a unique Flamii, the Migratory Circe. A very nasty bird.
Near the southwestern exit from the area, the party encounters the Millick Pests, a group of Bodom Grebels. This is a tutorial for executing a Fusion Art, which is available when a Class Art and its paired Master Art are both charged. A scene takes place afterwards. The party becomes free to change their classes again.
Next time, the party will continue southwest to the next region, Fornis.

Previously, the party traveled through the Arahagiro Region to the Kingdom of Arahagiro. After exploring the castle, they met King Belmud in the throne room and began the Arahagiro storyline. Then, they went to the Monster Fighting Arena for a spectacle. In the process, they met a girl named Serafi. She asked the party to accompany her to the Crag of Murud west of Arahagiro. They will now go there to continue the Arahagiro storyline. Afterwards, they will explore the rest of the Arahagiro Region and then the Defel Wilderness.
Arahagiro (time 0:29):
The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Arahagiro. In the town area on floor 1F, Quila at E-7 has story info.
The party double-checks the house at F-6. There is a bookcase that they failed to check previously, but it has nothing of interest.
At the weapon shop, the party spends 17,800 gold on a Paladin's Lance (聖騎士のやり) for Raguas. Heorot upgrades it to +3 with the Fun-size Forge. Raguas equips it afterwards.
The party exits south at D-8/E-8 to the Arahagiro Region.
Arahagiro Region (time 8:18):
The party explores the road leading west from Arahagiro. At B-4, they examine the crystal by the exit to the Crag of Murud. The Crag of Murud destination is added to the Zoom Stone.
The party takes the exit at B-4 to the Crag of Murud (ムルードの岩山).
Crag of Murud (time 10:23):
As the party enters the Crag of Murud, a scene with Serafi takes place. She speaks of Belmud's suspicious activities and calls the party's attention to a few of the gravestone inscriptions in the area. The party's next objective is to follow her to the large gravestone in the north of the area.
After the scene, the party gains control near the gravestones at D-5.
As the party approaches the large gravestone in the north of the zone, a cutscene with Serafi takes place at E-3. She tells them about a certain Great Sabrecat. The party's next objective is to seek the Great Sabrecat in the Jaira Jungle. To get there, the party must go north through the Arahagiro Region to the Defel Wilderness and then northwest. Serafi also notices a marker tucked away nearby.
Behind the large gravestone, a red chest at D-1/D-2 contains a Red Orb (レッドオーブ).
The party exits south at C-7/D-7 to the Arahagiro Region.
Arahagiro Region (time 20:30):
The party now explores the area east and northeast of the Kingdom of Arahagiro.
At D-2, the party examines the crystal near the side entrance to the Monster Fighting Arena. This adds the Fighting Arena - Side Entrance destination to the Zoom Stone.
The party enters the well at E-2. In the tunnel below, a black chest at D-3 contains a Green Orb (グリーンオーブ).
After resurfacing, the party ventures east to the Quicksand Desert. There are three holes that they can go down.
At F-4, the party drops down the western hole. They land on scaffolding in the tunnel below. Near where they land, a black chest at F-4 contains a Yellow Orb (イエローオーブ).
In the south, the party uses the rope at F-5 to climb out. They surface on a plateau. They examine the nearby crystal at F-5, adding the Nashim Cave destination to the Zoom Stone. Access to the Nashim Cave is through the tunnels below.
Below the plateau, the party drops down the southern hole at F-5. They land on another set of scaffolding in the tunnel below. Near where they land, a black chest at F-5 contains a Basilisk Bow (バジリスクの弓).
To the south, the party climbs the rope at F-5 to return outside. After they finish exploring the Quicksand Desert, they return west and make their way to the northern exit.
The party encounters a trio of Liquid Metal Slimes in battle (time 31:27). Better yet, they take all three of them out. Go, team!
At D-1/E-1, the party exits north to the Defel Wilderness (デフェル荒野).

Previously, the party did some class grinding in the Rebellion Cave in the southeast of the Erythia Sea. They will now continue.
The party resumes at the Vinisog Holm Camp in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region.
They skip travel to the King-Kings grave in the Demihuman Gutter, the innermost chamber of the Rebellion Cave in the southeast of the Erythia Sea. They continue hunting monsters to rank up their classes.
Taion masters the Seraph class. He changes his class to Martial Artist.
When the party's food effect expires, they skip travel back to the Vinisog Holm Camp. They cook another serving of Highly-Piley Ocean's Bounty. Then, they skip travel back to the King-Kings grave and continue grinding in the Demihuman Gutter.
When the party liberates the Ether Sphere, they harvest more HD Ether for Ino.
Mio masters the Full Metal Jaguar class. She changes her class to Machine Assassin.
Taion masters the Martial Artist class. He changes his class to Stalker.
When the party has finished grinding for now, they skip travel to the Vinisog Holm Camp, where they rest and save. They will continue grinding next time.

Previously, Link got some upgrades and unlocked the third region on the surface, the arid Lanayru Province. He got through Lanayru Mine and reached the Lanayru Desert. Now, he will begin exploring the desert.
Lanayru Desert:
Link resumes at the Desert Entrance statue in the southeast of the desert. Dowsing shows that Zelda headed west.
In the sand to the north, Link finds a new enemy, the shelled Ampilus. It attacks by retreating into its shell, electrifying it, and rolling towards Link. Link can stun it with a well-timed shield bash, but Link must use a Wooden Shield, not an Iron Shield.
On a wall to the north, Link can find a chest with a Tumbleweed, another type of resource. Link can also use the Bug Net to catch the Tumbleweeds rolling across the sand.
A few metal cages are just north of the chest with the Tumbleweed. From the roof of the nearest cage, Link can throw a Bomb through the hole in another cage's roof to reveal a Timeshift Stone. He can operate this stone with another Bomb or a Skyward Strike.
An LD-301 Series robot is being held in one of the cages, and two Technoblins are on guard. Technoblins are members of the Bokoblin family that wield electrified swords. Link will take damage if they block his sword with their electrified weapons. It is best to stun them with a well-timed shield bash. Naturally, a Wooden Shield is preferable.
The cages open once the Technoblins are defeated. When Link talks to the robot, it upgrades his Beetle to the Hook Beetle. The Hook Beetle's pincers can grab items, such as Bomb Flowers, and release them. Extremely useful.
At the sinksand close by to the west, Link can use the Hook Beetle to grab a Bomb Flower from the top of a tree and knock down a couple of standing stones to reveal nooks with treasures such as Rupees.
To the southwest, there is sinksand with three standing stones along the walls, an Electro Spume, and a tree bearing Bomb Flowers. The Hook Beetle can not only knock down the standing stones, it can also drop a Bomb on the Electro Spume. With the knocked-down standing stones, Link can cross this sinksand pit.
On the other side, of the pit, there is a tree where a bird enemy called a Hrok is nesting. Link can bomb the Hrok with the Hook beetle to defeat it.
Beyond, there is a sinksand pit with Ampiluses and another Electro Spume. Link can bomb each Ampilus to defeat it, and then he can use its shell to safely cross the pit.
