As you hear in the video I had 2 pretty damn lazy weeks. I moved to a new apartment and got into a slump. BUT it is nobodies fault but my own. I kept pushing my workouts off waiting for that "perfect time" to hit it. Well, there is no perfect time but now!
It's not in having a perfect plan and schedule to do your fitness, it's about starting somewhere and just pushing forward every day that you can. There may be bumps in the road BUT take responsibility for yourself and do something about it! You and you only have control over your reactions to life and it's quirks.
Be submissive and give in or take control and do what you can to get it done!

It's unbelievable how quickly 39 days of this P90X Workout run through have passed! Kris Hanks and I are killing it and getting better each and every day! Now, I have not posted pictures yet however that does not mean I will not be!
To be honest, though I'm absolutely getting stronger with my p90x workouts I was actually not that happy with my day 1 to day 30 p90x pictures. I feel the difference but didn't really see it. Today with Legs and Back I topped every single rep from any previous week and finished strong with Ab Ripper.
The numbers are not lying!
What that said, I am going to post Day 45 pictures to show my half way point through P90X within this next week. My workouts have been top notch by my nutrition has been off track. I have been eating more or less clean but actually I have not been eating enough!
Phase III of P90X Kris and I have decided to lock down and use the P90X Nutrition guide to the "T"! I am excited to see what my transformation will be!

I finally did a full day of eating to show you an example of what I may eat in a day. Today was interesting because I ate a couple things that I don't always eat. You'll see.
This is more to show you an idea of what my goal looks like. Currently I am aiming for roughly 2500 calories/day so this is what I would eat to hit that goal. I do work on macros too but mostly I only focus on hitting my protein goals of roughly 1/g per lb (give or take).
I make sure to hit a base line of protein to facilitate lean muscle tissue repair. How I eat in this video is more of a maintenance level approach. It's simple, I love food and I love to eat! So my goals aim to have enough calories that makes me happy.

Today's video is a quick update on my current fitness schedule. I have been doing The Work or technically "6 Weeks of The Work" by Beachbody and Amoila Cesar
The workout, as it says, involves a 6 week schedule with progressively intense workouts. I wasn't so sure about it the first two days. However, now that I am starting Week 3 / Day 1 I am excited to see this one through.
The workouts fly by and 6 weeks isn't long at all. Way easier than the old days with P90X hour and 15 min workouts per day for 90 days (Not to mention 90 minutes of Yoga X).
I am still working on my meal prep even through the holidays. I did go a little crazy for a couple weeks and hit an average of 3,000-3,200 daily calories which did put a couple % body fat back on unsurprisingly.
I reduced to 2500 daily average and now will put myself around 2,200 ish for the remainder of 2019 as I'd like to get a bit more ripped/shredded again. The cool thing is that with all the tracking and data I have I know it'll only take a matter of weeks vs. months.

Only 72 Days left to answer once and for all - Does P90X Work?
My week one got a little off track towards the end but things are back on and running sooth as of Week 2 Day 8. Today was Chest and Back + Ab Ripper X - My goal was to complete at least one more rep each exercise from week one. It's about pushing yourself a little further each week, lifting a little heavier, and stretching a little further.
P90X Day 8 went pretty smooth though I did get a little nauteious towards the end. I ate dinner just about an hour before doing my workout so I think that is why. I try my bestt o avoid working out on a full stomach but sometimes it just happens.
So Does P90X Work? Stay tuned and find out ;)
