I've been a fan of this band for a very long time and just recently came across this new song from their latest album "Bloodlust" and it immediately grabbed my attention. The lyrics drive this song and the guitar work just compliments everything. The solo in the middle of the song just adds so much feeling to it. I couldn't let this one slide and had to do one more before the New Year kicks in.

Confession time: I was into Ice t, Ice Cube and Dre Dre in the late 80s early 90s before I discovered Heavy Metal!!! So this is one of those respect and tribute type videos for the artist and their message!! Damn the system!! Respect all...
Enjoy Guys

While I'm busy fine tuning my next cover, I decided to do a quick play through of this awesome track from the old school Sepultura gang. It has some nice chugging riffs and super crazy energy.
I created my own IR for the guitar tone and messed around a bit with the EQ. The drums I found from a midi source and corrected all the errors in the fills and beats. It's also 100% accurate to the original bpm of the song. so Sing a long if you want to!!
Hope you guys enjoy

So here is another one of my favourite Tampora songs! :)
Some errors are visible/audible, but for the most part it's all pretty solid.Hope you guys enjoy.
The solo has some pretty bad ass finger stretching. I did my best for now.
Once again, Please don't crucify me if the tone is not Mr Darrell's or if I don't sound EXACTLY like Pantera.

This song screams 90s. Good old days with great music and sometimes awkward lyrics.... I don't have the voice Robert has, but I tried my best at it..
Also, Weird Al did a Parody of this song years ago and sometimes it's difficult to sing the original version when you know the parody lyrics so well. hehehe.
Hope Ya'll enjoy this with me

Reworked, Rerecorded and Recovered. Another one of those covers that had to see a better version one day. What an energetic song this is! The pace and speed at which the riffs are played are just amazing and the solo is one of Kirk's best.
I did the original cover for this one about 4 years ago and looked back on it the other day and decided that I could do better. I've always played some of those guitar parts wrong and it bothered me too much to just let it go. So I started from scratch and reworked everything. I used the IR from the BGelais IR pack called RIDE to get that tight guitar tone and eq'd it to my ears.
So here is what I improved:
1:Better Drum sound
2:Accurate timing and cymbal hits.

"because if a machine, a terminator can learn the value of life, maybe we can too..."
WATCH TILL THE END AS IT BUILDS WITH INTENSITY!
There are only a few movie themes I've always loved listening to and this particular one is definitely my favorite. There has been many failed attempts to recreate this theme in the past, but now I've finally decided to go through with it and am happy with the final result.
Because of the huge timing differences between Terminator 1 & 2, I decided to go with the 6/8 timing as this just sat better with the guitars. Not wanting to completely forget the original, I also decided to fuse the two together to get a more powerful version out there. So I took a huge step and created my own version. Starting off slow and then gradually building it up to the powerful main theme we all know and love. There are many guitars doing swell effects and low E strikes to get it sounding like a synth, so at times it might look like I'm striking a note that isn't audible. But I assure you, it very much is.
So, this is my interpretation of this masterful piece of movie music.
Hope You Guys Enjoy It

Another one from the Damage Done Album. This was the very first song I ever heard of Dark Tranquility and that creepy music video was something else I've never seen before. I wanted to do this song for some time now and after the Ex Nihilo Cover I decided it was time to let my fingers start learning this.
This is a very easy song to play, although the timing on the paused parts sometimes can be confusing. I spent way too much time trying to get the riffs on the right beats/hits but managed to get it right after the 100th try. As always, I use Emissary amp and cap sims and MT2 Drums. The Synth sounds are all part of the CUbase Halion SE package.
Hope You Guys Enjoy This One

ReLoad baby!! More covers from the Reload album and this one is heavy as can be! That fat bass intro opens the song and then the guitars starts creeping in making it a full blown heavy moshing experience! Slow yet powerful drums drives the tempo of this masterpiece. Again, ReLoad gets too much disrespect from the elitists! Well, here's to you!! Elite away.
As the song isn't too difficult to play, I spent a bout 2 days learning and figuring it all out, but the solo and pedals used were something else. I manged to get a vst of a digitech Whammy pedal and automated it into the solo and pre chorus/verse parts. I played with a lot of settings as this song has lots of small details that sits way at the back of the mix. I also corrected the drum parts and used "the black album drums" vst for my drums sounds.

Fun with Shredding... TURN IT UP LOUD!!
This is one hell of a fast paced song to cover, but boy was it fun!
Never really heard much about John 5 until a request to cover this track popped up. After checking it out, I decided to step out side of my comfort zone a bit and see what I could pull off.
It really isn't that difficult to do, but the tapping and chicken picking riffs almost made me not cover this amazing track. Even the main rhythm part is a bit tricky to understand but can be simplified...but who wants that.
Tuning is Standard E
Respect to John 5 for his technique and skills. Keep the requests coming guys.
