You can tweaks SailfishOS setup to be able to playback sound in a higher quality. Here I show you how to achieve that by editing one configuration file on your SailfishOS device.
This change was tested on Sony Xperia devices that work fine with this tweak. There could be issues with older devices such as the Jolla Phone or Jolla C. Be aware of this and create a backup of this file in case anything goes wrong.
File to edit: /etc/pulse/daemon.conf.d/50-sfos.daemon.conf
Contents to add (different from the video as it turns out there was a mistake with soxr-vhq not being available on the phone itself):
resample-method = speex-float-10
default-sample-rate = 48000
alternate-sample-rate = 44100
-- Under here also some new options not mentioned in the video but help aswell --
avoid-resampling = true
enable-lfe-remixing = no

Do you have tweaks for SailfishOS that improve sound quality or anything else?
Can you hear the difference after applying the tweak?
Does it improve your speakers audio quality aswell?
