Concept
The success of television series like the British Ivanhoe, the French Thierry La Fronde and the Flemish Johan en de Alverman inspired Carel Enkelaar [nl], manager of NTS (forerunner of NTR) to make a similar series, set in the Netherlands. It was written by Gerard Soeteman. The series was filmed in black and white, and has been aired in reruns through the years. It has also been shown in East Germany and (dubbed in English) in Scotland.
Storyline
In the early 16th century, during the Guelders Wars (1502-1543), the knight Floris van Roozemond (spelling varies with o/oo, s/z and d/dt), accompanied by the Indian Sindala (Bergman), returns home from a trip around the world only to find his castle occupied by Maarten van Rossum, the commander in chief of Charles, Duke of Guelders. Charles, who controls Guelders, is involved in a power struggle against Philip the Handsome who rules the Burgundian Netherlands, the rest of the Low Countries. Floris had so far been neutral due to his absence, but after he finds his castle stolen, he sides with Wolter van Oldenstein, who is allied with Burgundy against Charles. Charles and Maarten are aided by the Frisian pirate Greate Pier partly as an ally, and partly to do the dirty work.

Keeping Up Appearances is a British sitcom created and written by Roy Clarke. It originally aired on BBC1 from 1990 to 1995. The central character is an eccentric and snobbish middle class social climber, Hyacinth Bucket (Patricia Routledge), who insists that her surname is pronounced "Bouquet".[1] The show comprised five series and 44 episodes, four of which are Christmas specials. Production ended in 1995 after Routledge decided to move on to other projects. All 44 episodes have since been released on DVD.
The sitcom follows Hyacinth in her attempts to prove her social superiority, and to gain standing with those she considers upper class. Her attempts are constantly hampered by her lower class extended family, whom she is desperate to hide. Much of the humour comes from the conflict between Hyacinth's vision of herself and the reality of her underclass background. In each episode, she lands in a farcical situation as she battles to protect her social credibility.

De bezetting was een Nederlandse televisieserie over Nederland in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De 21-delige serie werd samengesteld en gepresenteerd door Loe de Jong en van 1960 tot 1965 uitgezonden bij de NTS
De serie werd uitgezonden in vier uitzendingen per jaar van vijftig minuten. De Jong presenteerde alle programma's. Bij een latere herhaling verving Pier Tania hem wegens ziekte. De gebeurtenissen van de jaren 1940-1945, die gedurende de wederopbouw waren verdrongen, kregen dankzij deze televisieserie voor het eerst ruime aandacht. De serie kwam tot stand met medewerking van de staf van het NIOD, naast directeur Loe de Jong onder meer Pieter Geijl en Jacques Presser en het ministerie van Defensie. De serie werd geregisseerd door Milo Anstadt. Ben Klokman was de producer.
In de serie werd er naar gestreefd ieder onderwerp te voorzien van interviews met getuigenverhalen en nog unieke archiefbeelden. Het programma werd gepresenteerd door Loe de Jong vanachter een bureau.

The 2007 Tour de France the 94th running of the race, took place from 7 to 29 July. The Tour began with a prologue in London, and ended with the traditional finish in Paris. Along the way, the route also passed through Belgium and Spain. It was won by Spanish rider Alberto Contador.[1]
The Tour was marked by doping controversies, with three riders and two teams withdrawn during the race following positive doping tests, including pre-race favourite Alexander Vinokourov and his Astana team. Following Stage 16, the leader of the general classification, Michael Rasmussen, was removed from the Tour by his Rabobank team, who accused him of lying about the reasons for missing several drug tests earlier in the year.
The points classification, indicated by the green jersey, was won for the first time by Tom Boonen, who had failed to complete the previous two Tours after leading the points classification at times during each. The mountains classification, indicated by the polkadot jersey, was won by Mauricio Soler in his first Tour appearance.
The general classification, indicated by the yellow jersey, was closely contested until the final time trial on stage 19. The top three riders, Alberto Contador in the yellow jersey as the leader, Cadel Evans in second, and Levi Leipheimer in third, were separated by only 2:49, with both Evans and Leipheimer recognized as far superior time trialists to Contador. In the end, each rider held his place after the final time trial, but with considerably slimmer margins, as the Tour ended with the smallest-ever spread of only 31 seconds among the top three riders. Alberto Contador also won the young rider classification, indicated by the white jersey, as the best young (under age 25) rider.

In januari vorig jaar is bij ministeriële regeling het nieuwe coronavirus in groep A van infectieziekten van de Wet publieke gezondheid (Wpg) geplaatst. De ministeriële regeling is door de minister voor Medische Zorg ondertekend. Dat was op dat moment Bruno Bruins.
In de toelichting van de regeling valt onder andere te lezen: “Ten derde houdt dit in dat de minister voor Medische Zorg verantwoordelijk wordt voor de leiding van de bestrijding van deze ziekte. Dit betekent dat de minister de maatregelen ter bestrijding vaststelt.”
Eind september kwam de bestrijding van corona op het bordje van Hugo de Jonge terecht. De minister kan wel meedelen dat hij corona in portefeuille heeft genomen, maar het is nog steeds uitsluitend de minister voor Medische Zorg en Sport aan wie de regelgevende bevoegdheid is gedelegeerd, verklaarde medisch socioloog Tjerk de Haan zaterdag aan tafel bij de Buitenparlementaire Onderzoekscommissie 2020.
Alle maatregelen die De Jonge heeft uitgevaardigd ter bestrijding van corona zijn nietig
“De groep A-indeling van Covid-19 heeft nog steeds uitsluitend de ministeriële regeling 2019-nCoV van 28 januari 2020 van de minister voor Medische Zorg als grondslag. Die is ook als enige bevoegd om maatregelen ter bestrijding van het coronavirus te treffen,” lichtte hij toe.
Na het wegvallen van Bruins heeft De Jonge het coronadossier feitelijk gekaapt van de minister voor Medische Zorg, aldus De Haan. “Alle maatregelen die De Jonge heeft uitgevaardigd ter bestrijding van het coronavirus […] zijn nietig, met alle daaruit voortvloeiende schadeplichtigheid jegens getroffenen, aangezien hij daartoe simpelweg nooit bevoegd is geweest.”

De Haan benadrukte dat corona ook niet formeel, als zijnde een voorafgaande constituerende wetsbepaling in artikel 1 lid e van de Wet publieke gezondheid, is vastgelegd als een groep A-infectieziekte. En dus kan diezelfde wet daarover geen nader onderliggende, rechtskracht bezittende onderdelen bevatten, stelde hij.
Is er volgens De Haan ooit sprake geweest van een coronapandemie? “Neen. Er was slechts sprake van een papieren ‘epidemie’, van staatswege veroorzaakt door wetsbreuk en -misbruik.”

Moye and Ron Leavitt for Fox.[1] Originally broadcast from April 5, 1987, to June 9, 1997, it is the longest-lasting live-action sitcom that aired on Fox. In a 2004 BBC poll it placed 12th in Britain's Best Sitcom. In a 2001 Channel 4 poll, Hyacinth was ranked 52nd on their list of the 100 Greatest TV Characters.[2] The show has been syndicated on Gold and Drama in the UK, on PBS member stations in the United States and on 7TWO and 9Gem in Australia.
