Duke Nukem 3D for Switch on a 1983 RCA TV with RF Input - Not Cause I Should...¯\_(ツ)_/¯Cause I Can
I decided to fire up the old 1983 RCA ColorTrak and connect the Switch to it to see how good it looks. So for all the connections to work, I needed an HDMI to RCA adapter, Check! Then I needed a VCR to convert the composite signal of the adapter to RF over coaxial cable, Check! I wanted to use the oldest VCR I had so I pulled out the 1987 Quasar DigiTune. This VCR only has one mono audio input so I used a 2 to 1 adapter for the Left and Right channels to converge. I have no remote for the VCR, but fortunately and oddly, the VCR's AV input auto-overrides everything else so when plugging in the HDMI to RCA adapter the signal is sent via the VCR to the TV over channel 3 without changing the VCR input. After tweaking the color and brightness a bit, then shrinking the Switch screen as small as I could (95%) with an output resolution of 480p I was in business. Here are the surprising results.
Here are the first 3 games in the Crush Pinball series. Alien Crush, Devil's Crush, and Jaki Crush. Arguably the best pinball games of the 16-bit era.

This original Bondi Blue iMac is a bit of a clunker now but I got it fired up to play this edutainment game called Pinball Science.
You have to answer questions about physics or mechanical science to get the parts needed to build a crazy pinball machine... then complete a goal on the machine to progress to the next area.
If anyone wants to see further levels while this old iMac computer is still kicking let me know!

Here is an old batch of commercials on a VHS tape I have of VH1 in January of 1999 from a Storytellers marathon. It really shows how less annoying commercials were 20+ years ago...
Enjoy.

Surprise!!! Head-to-head play online is still available for Wii Sports Club on the Wii U, though stats for club matches won't save since the MiiVerse was shut down.
Seems there are few players left online these days, but I found a few still hanging out on the weekends. I'll be online weekend afternoons during the winter of 2020/2021 if anyone wants a match...
You may need several attempts to make a connection with other players, so be patient and try 6-7 times.
Why not dust off your old Wii U, while you can, and bowl a few games online before it's all shut down for good ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Wii U Sports Bowling is a game that was originally released as part of the Wii U Sports Club series in 2013. It is a simulation of the popular sport of bowling and is designed to take advantage of the unique features of the Wii U console and the Wii Remote Plus.

It's hard to rate PGA Tour 96 on Game Boy as it's pretty fun for Game Boy, but it has some unusual flaws. My suggestion is to play and decide for yourself.
Enjoy.
