This system is WAY easier than Circe. Had it not been for dumb luck, I would have beat this mission on the first try. Maybe had I brought a better wingman...
With a little hint from the guidebook, I used my wingmen as distractions while I shoved a torpedo up the Lexington's tailpipes. Pretty effective I'd say.
This isn't exactly the northern portion of Ruins Island. More like if you took a diagonal cut from the top right down to the lower left, so almost northwest if you will. We do a quest for 'Zandalor' and also get some exotic ore which apparently will be useful in a later quest.
Thankfully not as difficult as the last mission, though I did get shot down the first time through. If your wingman can take out the capital ship quickly while you chase down the missiles it shot at the planet, this one isn't too bad. You roll right into the third Locanda mission if you try to rescue Flint. Apparently I failed to do that, but she still got rescued by Cobra. Probably made it a bit harder than I needed too by trying to take out the Fralthi. That sucker was huge!
Here's where the suck starts to really set in. The DOSbox performance on this mission is absolutely HORRID. Once again, you have to defend the Tiger's Claw, only this time they send the worst ships possible, Jalthi. Not only that, but you have to escort another ship AND they expect you to destroy a capital ship! Yeah, heaven help you if you end up here.
I backtracked to the Heat Loss Monitoring area and learned some things that maybe would have been helpful in the Workshops area. Oh well. Afterwards, I used the EMP bomb to take down Andrew Ryan's defenses. The only thing left to do now is take out Andrew Ryan himself.
Another location where I rescued some more GCPD hostages. I also had to run across the park to go defuse another bomb. I wish they put forth even half of the effort that they did for this episode in the other ones.
Two points of criticism that I forgot to mention. First, is the infinite loading bug, but it's easily fixed with this link:

Second is the repetitiveness of attacking the fortresses near the end of the Ego Draconis portion of the game. Nowhere near as repetitive as the battlefields in Beyond Divinity, but still repetitive nonetheless.
