It is only fitting for the shortest chapter to have the shortest scene, but this is probably my favorite of the bunch. During the Great Aja fight, if you can position him in the bottom right of the grid (to be clear: he does not need to be in the corner, just against the ropes of either the right or bottom), then wait for him to use his Bite, the elder Watanabe will intervene on your behalf, causing Aja to leave the ring to make an example out of him right in front of his son.
I don't know if it was ever confirmed, but I believe the trigger here is supposed to be a reference to the Tyson-Holyfield fight where Tyson bit him. I don't know if fans starting throw stuff at Tyson after it happened. Ultimately, this is just speculation on my part and maybe someone in the comments knows more. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIZBUe2LBkI
This map took forever to fight, but it is largely the same as normal mode. The volcano does the same thing at the same intervals, with the only difference being that Hawke has bigger units initially and can get a deeper earlier claim. Jess is able to go blow for blow with him, only needing to step back after he uses his powers. Just try to prevent him from getting too deep early, then you can push him off the map. The end of the Green Earth campaign is near...

With the bulk of the Halloween event behind me, I can play some more ranked. After some disappointment with teammates, I figured I would just try different characters and see what happens, which is where Garchomp comes in. His attack speed and Dragon Rush were recently buffed, but I still prefer Dig over it. The trick is finding a way to stick to the opponent, which is why I am running Razor Claw, but even it has limits.
As for the other two, Pikachu and Sylveon have been here countless times. I like Sylveon's flexibility, but with the buffed Volt Tackle, Pikachu has become more dangerous than some people may be expecting.

I was hoping to last until Dedicueye came out, but I am going to be dedicating most of my recording time to MegaTen. If I continue here, it will most likely be games without commentary like here as there is crap going on around me, so it is difficult to speak. Otherwise, there are four games here as I was working on the promo, and in the end you can see the outcome. If you're able to hit Ultra this season, you are gifted a free clothes set that you may see higher ranked players using. As for me, I am content to sit in the pits and watch the games crash and burn.

This is going to be one of the final demo videos I upload. Last time you saw the Light Bowgun, and I mentioned that I intend to use both, so here is the other. Unlike last time, now I know how the wirebugs work for ranged weapons and abuse the Counter to no end.
So first things first, the Heavy Bowgun uses a charging mechanic and does not have the ability to rapid fire (in the demo), but can reload most ammo on the move. It has a shield built in, so you can passively block attacks provided you are not taking any other actions. The frame is collapsible, which should help reduce recoil, but adds some frames on drawing and sheathing it.
In terms of ammo, I am finding myself among the camp that does not believe charging to be worthwhile. There will most likely be armor sets that make it good, but in the demo, it simply isn't worth the time. Sadly, you do not have enough resources to kill all 3 monster easily, so you would have to gather ammo regardless of whether you charge or not.
The thing I learned this video was about Sticky Ammo being able to KO monsters. It gives you more reason to aim for the face now, and takes away some of the utility of the hammer. I believe with the Horn rework and this, you will see quite a bit fewer hammer uses than in the past.
Ultimately, I hope there is some worth to using Slicing Ammo as that can remove tails, but it was extremely difficult to do in other games without some sort of gimmick at work. Depending on what the options are, it may very well be possible to main the guns without missing out on anything. Keep your fingers crossed.

The time has come to drive the Black Hole out of Yellow Comet, and we are throwing two of the strongest COs in the game at them. Adder can charge his power very quickly, but with the amount of damage Kanbei and Grit can deal in a single turn, we can easily fill his power to max, and then the overflow simply ceases to exist.
The difficulty here is that two of the bays on the factory are on water, meaning they will only generate sea and air units. These are pretty expensive units to make, so his power will fill more quickly by destroying them. With a land force, the only reliable way to deal with them is with indirect fire, however, they can move immediately upon spawn, making putting indirects close to them very dangerous.
Your strategy here since Grit is on the field is to simply push the enemy back until the seam is in range, then blast it out. Trying to block the bays requires expensive units (especially for Kanbei), and you are more likely to have access to the seam than forcing your way over to the factory bays.
With this, Yellow Comet has come to a close and we get to see what dire shape Green Earth is in. Things are about to get rougher, but luckily we will have everyone's favorite CO to use. Drake, right?

This map is a little more difficult on account of the changed AI. Before, they were very easy to predict, but here they make some different moves. Luckily, Grit is still the best marksman around and we can shred anything we come across. If we can wipe out all of the enemy infantry, we can take our time in making our approach. You do have the option of ignoring the cannons entirely, or you could dedicate a unit to sniping them, your call. Just make sure you get to the HQ in time.

Amateur thieves meet the professionals...
Anyway, while reviewing this, I think having Anna surmount behind and go invisible to cut off the enemy circle may have been faster and safer than going around. Due to the enemy mages, it is difficult to make defensive formations until they get picked off, so those are going to have to be priority going forward. As for the thieves, since there are two of them, I am a little annoyed at how superior their stats are, especially since that Fire Arrow does so much damage. The only saving grace is that she literally can't do anything once I have her surrounded.
Sadly, there is less crap going on in this fight compared to the next one where we have to fight in an arena. That one really takes the cake when it comes to stupid "mechanics" so far...

In the last video, we had to get access to this area, now that we are here, we need to ascend it. This means we will need to fight copies of the various party members until we get to Rean's copy. Instead of beating it down, it escapes and before we can pursue, we need to stop to liberate Crossbell, for real this time, hopefully...

Upon beating Narwa, the canteen will give you this quest, which I have done numerous times. I liked getting the Blos parts to use for melding, and you also get Dango Tickets here. The bad news is that you will never get any crowns in this fight (unless something changes in a future patch).
As for the two Blos, the trick is just keeping them separate unless you intend to ride or mount. Should they meet, a well timed roar can lead to some pain, but like all monsters, they would rather fight each other than you.
Since Blos doesn't really have any unique drops that are rare, I don't bother cutting off tails anymore. Aim precisely and you can pop the horns so you are guaranteed a drop, and you can even use all of the ones you've farmed to find a talisman that works for you.
These are considerably easy with mobile weapons, so don't think the LBG is the only option. Even slow weapons like the lance that have a shield can deal with a Blos fairly easily. The trick is looking for the windows of opportunity and going to town.
