Still Report #520 - Microsoft Warns IE Users – Danger!

According to a story yesterday in the Daily Express, a London newspaper, Microsoft is warning all Internet Explorer users to seek out and either destroy or update ALL pre-version 11 copies of Internet Explorer even if you are using Chrome or other browsers regularly. Why? Because Microsoft has ended support for almost all versions of the venerable web browser as of Tuesday. Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 will no longer receive the latest patches and security updates, leaving them extremely vulnerable to malware attacks. A few days ago, Microsoft warned that all users should immediately update to IE version 11 to ensure protection. But on Tuesday, they added a new warning that all Windows users have to update – even if they are not actively using Internet Explorer. Why? Because there are many components of IE that are still actively attached to the OS, even if IE isn’t open. Therefore, applications other than IE can call on IE components to execute malware scripts. Although the upgrade to IE v. 11 is free on the Microsoft site, internal research has shown that 75% of users will not upgrade in time to be covered. I’m still reporting from Washington. Good Day.
The British pound slumped in yesterday’s market as news that the proponents of Britain leaving the European Union are gaining momentum as the latest polls show them leading for the first time by a 3-point margin in one, and a 4-point margin in another.
On May 18, one poll showed the Remain crowd with a comfortable 18-point lead. But yesterday’s new telephone poll of over 4,000 people showed the Leave group with a 3 point lead, 45 leave to 42% stay.
Another poll done by IC put the Leave contingent ahead by 4% - 52 to 48%.
Former Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, who is now a member of parliament, pledged to deploy a tough new immigration system based on the Australian-style points system, if Brexit passes to halt the massive immigrant invasion. The latest figures show that net migration to the UK has risen to 330,000 per year.
Johnson, along with the former Secretary of State for Justice, Michael Grove – also now a member of Parliament – recently calculated that if Britain votes to Brexit, the amount of money saved would mean the British government could scrap the VAT on household energy bills.
The Brexit vote comes on June 23.

Beth on the appalling hypocrisy of the left over the temporary detention of 109 of 325,000 incoming foreign arrivals on Saturday. All 109 have now been cleared and those were the ones who were in the air when the President’s new temporary vetting restrictions were implemented.
It’s typical of a non-story being spun up as a biggest story the lying MSM can conjure up as President Trump is merely fulfilling his promise to the American people to make America safe again.

have to admit two mistakes that I made on the my last report #726 –Enquirer says: 3 More Cruz Babes.
I fell for this apparently faked, photo-shopped image of a National Enquirer page. Unless they changed their format, this is not the format for an Enquirer page. I should have known that, but it just didn’t click. The Enquirer is closed down for the weekend, so I can’t verify this.
So who pays these guys to put up these elaborate graphic arts fakes? And why would they do it? Someone didn’t knock this out in 15 minutes. This is good – it’s just not perfect – and I should have recognized that.
I apologize for that error.
What difference does it make? It means that there are just 5 women implicated at this point – not 8 – and two have been confirmed by Washington Times correspondent, Drew Johnson, and Johnson is no Trump lover.
[insert]
In fact, he has said Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson has a better chance of becoming President than Donald Trump. I wonder if they are related?
[insert Tweet]
Well, here’s my prediction in the General election. Trump 55%, Johnson less than 1%.
The second error I made is that I included a string of quotes which were implied to be from the brother-in-law of Amanda Carpenter, the originator of the notorious Republican Black List – an enemies list for folks who support Trump.
I should have simply labeled those quotes as unattributed and I would have been fine, but I fell for the implication and didn’t recognize that nowhere were those quotes attributed correctly. Why? Admittedly, because I wanted them to be true – yes my bias against Cruz is so strong – a deep revulsion.
The rest of the story was fine. Although the connection between Cruz and Amanda Carpenter is still circumstantial, the public revelation of identical Winston Churchill tattoos on the same day in public forums is very strong evidence of a deep, personal connection. Time will tell.
I’ve done many other stories on Ted Cruz; the off-the-charts dirty tricks of the Cruz campaign in Iowa and most other caucus states along the way, the North American Union aspirations of both Ted and Heidi Cruz, even evidence of vote-rigging schemes, but most importantly his clear ineligibility to not only become President, but even to hold the office he now holds – a Senator from Texas.
By contrast, I’ve seen none of these nefarious shenanigans from Trump.
So, although I stand by all of my previous work on Cruz, I apologize for these two mistakes in my last report.
I’m Still reporting from Washington. Good day.
Good evening, I’m still reporting on medical insurance.
Even for someone who has not followed the Obamacare mess closely, it is now becoming apparent that just as feared, the entire experiment will probably collapse in a huge cloud of national debt in Donald Trump’s first year in office.
According to Tennessee’s Insurance regulator, the state’s Obamacare exchange is “very near collapse.”
According to the Nashville Tennessean, Commissioner Julie Mix McPeak said she felt she had to approve a very unusual second rate request for 2017 by the few remaining insurers or they might leave the exchange all together.
Blue Cross BlueShield of Tennessee has already been approved for a 62% rate increase in 2017 over the current year.
Cigna revised their request upwards to a 46% rate increase.
Humana raised theirs to a 44.3% increase.
A spokeswoman for Cigna in Nashville, Katie Sulkowski, explained that people who are buying plans on the exchange are using more medical services than predicted. In other words, they are sicker.
When Obamacare opened health-insurance exchanges in 2014, the administration predicted that the marketplaces would quickly thrive. That was just another politically-induced lie.
The truth is that entire system nationwide is in dire straits. So far this year, enrollment is less than half that projected by the Congressional Budget Office. Sixteen of the 23 non-profit, state-chartered co-ops created by Obamacare have gone bankrupt. Major insurers are quitting, premiums are skyrocketing and the administration is taking increasingly desperate measures to hide the problems.
It won’t work long-term. They are just trying to get across the Jan. 20th finish line, dump the problems on Trump, then get out of town ahead of the pitchforks.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
Congress has cancelled funding for a high-tech advanced radar system that was nearing deployment which would have protected the nation’s capitol from a new high-speed Russian cruise missile system recently deployed in Syria.
The surprise cancellation was one of the little known parts of the omnibus spending bill. The advanced JLENS radar is slung under a large blimp. But last year, one of the blimps broke free of its tether, embarrassing the program managers.
However, the tether appears to have been a simple mechanical failure, unrelated to the robust complexities of the new radar system. After spending billions of dollars in developmental costs, the system was nearing completion. According to Chet Nagle, a former champion of the JLENS system in the Pentagon:
“It is now in a final operational test at Aberdeen Proving Ground that will prove its worth and … will protect most of the eastern seaboard from cruise missile attack.”
Nagle explained that the radar quickly identifies high-speed, incoming threats and automatically targets them for aircraft and missiles already stationed in the region.
The new Russian cruise missiles fly so fast that they can overwhelm existing defensive missile systems protecting the U.S. east coast. They can be fired at relatively short range from submarines.
According to Admiral Bill Gortney, chief of NORAD, in testimony before lawmakers earlier this month trying to rescue the program with a 27 million-dollar supplemental spending request:
“The Russians are employing these cruise missiles in Syria today, both from bombers, ships, and submarines.”
“There’s no operational or tactical requirement to do it. They’re messaging us that they have this capability and those missiles can have a nuclear-tipped or conventional warhead.”
However, the small supplemental request has now been turned down and the project killed unless and until the next President gets behind it.
Without JLENS, it is unlikely that the nation’s capitol could be defended from such a threat.

Good morning, I’m still reporting on GOP Candidate Closing in GA Race, 1666
Synopsis: Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on Trump.
The last special election for Congress is coming up in only 11 days contesting Georgia’s 6th Congressional District. But did you know that it is already the most expensive Congressional race in history? Already $29.7 dollars has been spent on TV advertising alone as of May 6 – over a month ago.
Desperate Democrats are anxious to prove they can still be politically relevant after losing every special election across the nation so far this year, despite unprecedented out-of-state money flowing into their election coffers.
In this final chance to win something, the Dems are pinning their last hopes on 30-year-old Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District in the northern suburbs of Atlanta.
The special election was called as a result of the sitting Congressman, Tom Price, being appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services under President Trump.
The 6th district was represented by Newt Gingrich for 20 years from 1979 to 1999. It has typically voted strongly Republican in the past, but Donald Trump won my only a single percentage point in his Presidential Race.
Ossoff was one of 5 Democrats in the first round on April 18.
His only experience in politics comes from serving a national security staffer for Rep. Hank Johnson of Georgia’s 4th Cong. District in Atlanta’s eastern suburbs. Interestingly, Ossoff had no national security experience when he was hired. He has only an economics degree from the London School of Economics.
His opponent, Karen Handel, beat 10 other Republicans to make it to the second and final round on June 20th.
Handle, started out in political life as the chief of staff to Vice President Dan Quayle’s wife, Marilyn.
In 2003, she was elected chairman of the Fulton County, GA Board of Commissioners with 58% of the vote.

You may have noticed in the past that I don’t promote many other channels. Why? Well, nobody is right all the time, but my rule of thumb is I don’t really bother unless someone is right 90% of the time.
Why? Because I just don’t have the time to check up on the accuracy of less reliable people all the time.
Steve Hempfling , Director of the Free Enterprise Society is such a reliable source. I’ve known Steve for many years and he and I used to disagree on only one thing; he was a believed in the gold money solution.
But over the years, he’s gradually come around.
So I got this email last night from Steve asking me to look at his new video. Well Steve is probably the best, most humorous speaker in person I’ve ever seen. So I watched his new production with happiness, because Steve is certainly someone who will exceed my 90% truth standard. Steve is absolutely grounded on the Constitution
This first piece on anchor babies is right on the money as I’d expect. I would sit in any class that Steve felt competent to teach on. He is rock solid and you can rely on what he says. If he says that something is not in the Constitution, believe it.
He is the #1 expert in the world on the Constitutional implications of the existing laws – or lack thereof regarding the income tax.
You’ll see that gleeful laugh of his throughout this, his first presentation, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that Steve is taking the time to impart his built-up knowledge to the world in this format which preserves it for my children and grandchildren.
So here’s the link and welcome Steve:
