One of the newer monsters has hopped onto the chopping block and I am more than happy to oblige. Zinogre has a few breakable parts, such as his face, back, and claws, but he also has a unique gathering spot on his back when he is on his side. Sadly, you are more likely to get his claws as carves or target rewards rather than capturing, and quite a few things use them, so this is definitely a monster I farmed quite a bit off camera to get the stuff I need. You may need some of his stuff for weapons too, so luckily he isn't as annoying as some of his peers... ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFb2i65hEYo
Here is the second video of compromised audio, so you get to see the set I used on the elder trio in action here.
For Pukei-Pukei, he still doesn't really have that much going for him. If you want a poison weapon for Kushala, you will need either him or Rathian (worst case scenario, both). Otherwise, you could look into poison knives or other poison bombs to inflict the status. I stand by my comments about poison being the weakest status effect in the game, and even Kushala may not be enough to justify seriously using one of those weapons.
As for Rathian, I don't really notice anything different between her low and high rank. I've fought her so many times that there may be something that I just tune out by now. She will not stay in the air as long as Los will, so Flash Bombs are not required, but could give you some additional windows to attack from.
If you don't need poison gear, move onto the next part and see if something there happens to be what you need.

Swarm Eater has a variant, so I swap to the offensive form of Cypher to unleash First Response. We get Doc and Vanish, but Echelon and Cricket leave some things to be desired.
The game is pretty brief since both sides get really nice draws. That quickly turns things into a damage race, and there is all sorts of cheese that can be done between Cypher and Vanish.
Unlike the normal variant, this one is less about absorbing things and more about combining them. As a result, it will be a target rich game, and you may want a bit of AOE to thin the group out. You do have the option of ignoring the other targets and focusing solely on Swarm Eater, so figure out what works best for your team comp.

The Sentinels Giftmas (or Christmas if you're boring) is finally here. Unfortunately, there is a lack of Santa Guise, which I supplied in this morning's video. Here we are going to take on Challenge Ambuscade before he trashes the Temple, because we can't have anything nice.

I honestly don't know why they waited so long to release this event. The dedicated players were HR long before this, and a lot of the new players may have thrown in the towel before this came out. It would be one thing if these things cycled like in console events in the past, but since they are permanent, I think the low rank stuff should have been given priority.
Anyway, for the stage of the game I am at, I have the firepower and durability to shred these. There is little that they can do, so they get mowed down, I get a few novelty carves, and I'm on my way. The only thing you can get here that may help is if Magnamalo drops a plate. I don't think Goss Harag has a rare drop in LR.

To be clear: this unlock started at the end of the Eldritch video. Lantern Jack must knock himself out in a losing game. From there, in a subsequent game, we need to go down to 1 HP (without getting knocked out) and reaching 30 HP. It seems that only Jack here can overheal himself, so you may want to bring Eldritch, Adept, or guys who give out of turn card plays or powers. I recommend plays more than powers.
As for this variant, it is decent. It revolves more around one-shots than just dealing outright damage, so it is hard to say which is better. The healing here can also lead to Baleful hits that put Fanatic to shame, and you have better chances of finding your ongoing cards to set up. There is a case to be made for both here without one eclipsing the other as I think is the case with Eldritch.
And with this video, I am most likely done with Earth Prime. The game never really hooked me like Multiverse did, and with the exception of the two newest heroes, I wasn't really a fan of what I found there. The heroes seem to be a bit on the weak side. Ultimately, what I liked best about this was probably the environments. For the villains, they are really hit or miss. Omega can become very tedious, and the Meta Mind can lead to some devastating unfun loops. I doubt these guys will get re-worked like the main Sentinels group currently is, but I would like to see Eldritch and Lantern Jack again someday.

This game gives me a lot of mixed feelings and I'm not really sure how to respond. If you've been following my Legend of Heroes run, I edit out the random encounters there, but this game follows the pattern of Earthbound and makes the enemy encounters into a joke and part of the overall experience. I'm not really sure what I'll be doing about the random encounters here, but I'll give it some thought.
As for this game, it is very strongly reminiscent of Earthbound in terms of style with a rural appearance over an urban one. The only resource you need to manage is your health, and I can only imagine what moves we'll learn as we pick up new hats. While this is an Indie game, I am starting to develop high expectations for it, and I am eager to see what is coming next.
As for uploads on this series, the segments are not as clear cut as they are with Legend of Heroes, so that is going to affect the upload rate.
If you like this game and want to pick it up yourself, the only place I am aware of distributing it is the developer's website (using the Humble widget). You can pick up a copy yourself here:

There isn't really anything Kira exclusive to be found here as we are mainly knocking out the remaining events in the chapter. We are given the class project, which we have seen before, but the tarot reading is new, and starts to clue Mina into things going on around her. Then everything comes to a conclusion with us returning to the shrine only for Erilynn to receive some hope that help is a month away. We will need to wait and see if it arrives though...

With Joel's case abrupt end behind us, we are now on vacation and try to spend some time with Rose and Severine. Our trip to the beach is canceled equally abruptly, but we do manage to learn that Rose wants to join the team. In order to join the team, she has to pass the exam we did not. Fortunately for her, they are offering it again, and with some encouragement from Severine, we take another stab at it. Instead of doing things properly, we're just going to tell them what they want to hear.

With the mine excursion behind us, we return to Crossbell aware of who the newest residents are and try to continue going about business as usual while preparing for the conference. We make the rounds throughout town talking to everyone not mission related. The people and places related to a mission will be covered in the videos relevant to their missions. This is my attempt to see if there is a good way to upload these moving forward from here.
