Bob Neal,The Man Who Managed Elvis Presley Before Tom Parker
This is the story of when Bob Neal managed Elvis Presley.Bob and Elvis came together in 1954 and he went on to manage Elvis during his time with Sun Records and even for a short time after Elvis had signed with RCA Records in November of 1955. Bob managed Elvis until March of 1956 when Tom Parker took over completely after Bob's managerial contract with Elvis had expired..Bob also managed several artists in the mid to late 50's and went on to do various other things after that and was inducted into The Country Music DJ Hall Of Fame in 1984.Hope you enjoy the story.

Aide De Camp" as an honorary member of his staff.Elvis was also gifted a plaque and diamond studded wrist watch by RCA Records for the sale of over 75 million records.Later on that same day Elvis performs 2 charity concerts at Ellis Auditorium also located in Memphis Tennessee.Both concerts raised over 51,000 dollars of which 47,000 dollars was donated to local Memphis charities.
