How do we make the homepage on Twitch and build a following over time that’s big enough to allow us to earn enough money that we don’t need to do anything else besides Twitch? If we get honest with ourselves, isn’t that really why we care about how many people are following us? I mean if we just enjoy playing a video game, then who cares how many people are watching? Our egos will automatically adjust to whether it’s one, two, five or ten. Aren’t we really hoping that we don’t have to work or do something else, that we could just be a full-time live streamer, that we can literally just play video games and earn enough money to survive at first and then maybe to be comfortable? I know for me as a gamer since I got my Gameboy when I was six years old around 1990, I’ve had fantasies about being able to earn money playing video games. Therefore, the question becomes, on Twitch, how do we build a following on Twitch? What are the things that have worked for me to build a following on Twitch? I haven’t even hardly done anything on Twitch lately and I’ve got 12,000 people who have been through my channel. I’ve got 1,700 followers and I’ve had the opportunity to see what works on Twitch while I decided I didn’t want to go all in live streaming on Twitch. Best Twitch Tips to Earn Followers Daily without Struggling? Because if you want to make enough money to do Twitch full time, you really need to go all-in on it, and that means putting the time and energy. Ultimately there’s no substitute if you want to build a following on Twitch to live streaming on Twitch. There is no substitute. Now, it sounds simple. “Well, of course, Jerry. It’s obvious.” Well, how obvious is it? I live streamed on Twitch for about six months to a year and I did it mostly part-time, a few hours here and there and I built up from 0 to about 2,000 followers in a year because I already had a following and I’d already been uploading a lot before that on YouTube and some of my followers from YouTube came over also. I had about 2,000 followers and since I’ve less consistently live streamed and since I’ve switched from gaming to music, I’ve lost a lot of my followers over the last year and a half. You see, I’ve done it both ways. I’ve live streamed consistently, done video games I was good at and that I loved playing and I built a following. Now if you want to start from zero especially, it’s essential to live stream frequently and to interact with every single follower that comes across.
