Meet N by the Ferris wheel at Nimbasa City during the winter season on Friday and he will take you for a ride on the wheel explaining about a trainer from 2 years ago. He will return to his castle after the ride. Go to his castle which is underground in Victory Road and you can battle him. For his winter season team, he leads off with Abomasnow, in which its Snow Warning ability summons hail and lasts until the weather effects are replaced. Abomasnow will use Grasswhistle to put opponents to sleep and Blizzard as it doesn’t miss in hail. Vanilluxe will use Hail to bring back the hail and Signal Beam to confuse foes. Cloyster will use Shell Smash to gain power and speed at the sacrifice of defense plus Ice Shard for first strikes. Mamoswine will use Stone Edge for critical hits and its Snow Cloak ability raises its evasiveness in hail. Froslass will use Hail and Blizzard as a combo plus the Icy Rock it holds extends the turns the hail is in effect. Glaceon will use Attract to infatuate opposite genders. Moves like Flamethrower and Aura Sphere work best for this battle.

After a 48-win streak in the Super Multi Station, you’ll battle both Ingo and Emmet once more. Excadrill holds a Life Orb for more power but at the expense of HP after each hit. Haxorus holds a Yache Berry and will use Dragon Dance then unleash a big attack. Eelektross will use Thunder Wave and even Gastro Acid to remove abilities. Go after Archeops immediately when it comes out and make its HP less than half so it causes less damage by acting Defeatist but it also knows Protect. After winning, you’ll receive 30 BP.

After beating the Elite Four, you’ll take on Steven, said to be the son of the president of Rustboro City’s Devon Corporation. Skarmory will combo with Spikes and Toxic to hurt those without attacking very much. Claydol will use both Light Screen and Reflect to make opposing attacks even weaker. Cradily will use Confuse Ray to confuse opponents and steal their HP with Giga Drain. Armaldo will use Water Pulse to confuse targets, Slash for critical hits, and Aerial Ace for no misses. Metagross is another pseudo-600 club Pokémon that knows Meteor Mash, a move that has a 20% chance of raising its own Attack stat. Make sure you have a whole variety of moves for this battle.

Kingdra will use Yawn to make the target sleep the next turn and Dragonbreath for a 30% chance of paralyzing the target. Charizard will use Shadow Claw to more easily land a critical hit and Air Slash for a 30% chance of making the target flinch. Dragonite will use Safeguard to prevent status problems for 5 turns and Thunder for a 30% chance of paralyzing the target. Think of a whole variety moves you can use for this battle.

Flannery is one of the Hoenn Leaders in the Pokémon World Tournament that can be battled in either the Hoenn Leaders or World Leaders Tournaments. Flannery is skilled in using Fire type Pokémon. Torkoal will use Yawn to put opponents to sleep and Fire Blast with a Fire Gem taking effect for once. Camerupt will use Earth Power to lower the target’s Special Defense stat and Rock Slide to make opponents flinch. Magcargo will use Shell Smash to gain stats and Lava Plume to burn everyone else around it. Blaziken will use Bulk Up to raise its stats and Flare Blitz for big damage but hurt itself as well. Houndoom will use Will-O-Wisp to burn targets and Nasty Plot to raise its Special Attack stat. Magmortar will use Cross Chop for critical hits and making contact with it could cause a burn due to its Flame Body ability. A move like Hydro Pump will most likely have an advantage against every opponent.

Jariel, a Veteran Trainer can be battled after completing Area 10. Zapdos will use Discharge to paralyze opponents and Roost when low on HP. Cresselia will use Calm Mind to raise its Special stats, Substitute to avoid damage with the cost of a quarter of its HP, and Moonlight when running low on HP. Latias will use Icy Wind to slow down opponents and Draco Meteor for massive damage while the White Herb it holds gives it a break from a lowered stat for once.
