An old-ish video (I recorded it 3 months ago), but it still applies to my current views (and it applied to my views 3 years ago as well) People claim that xenogenders were made for autistic people as "autistic people don't understand gender" (which is an unfounded claim). What is true about autistic people however is that they can get overwhelmed very easily, not only due to intense sensorial stimulation (the tip of iceberg), but also due to chaos in general, including chaotic and / or contradictory information (the bottom of the iceberg that most non-autistic people who want to support autistic people don't see). Xenogenders are an abstract concept (autistic people often prefer concrete things) and they also happen to contradict most definitions of "gender identity" commonly used.
