In a time when fabric-covered biplanes still prevailed, the Ryan Aeronautical Company broke the mould with the ST-A, a metal-skinned monoplane Sport Trainer. The ST-A evolved into the iconic PT-22 Recruit and the lesser-known ST-M, but not before it established itself as a formidable competition aircraft.
The ST-A package from Golden Age Simulations models the Menasco-powered ST-A, a Ranger-powered variant of the ST-A Special and an ST-M floatplane variant. Several alternative liveries are provided, including the YPT-16 USAAC ST-A.
