In this video, I go over my experience with the Micron e230 and how I have been using it as a HiveOS drive, for my AMD mining rig. I am still using it and will continue to do so moving forward. I have experienced a dramatic uptick in uptime and system stability since I began utilizing this USB 2.0 Nand flash drive. We all know AMD drivers have issues, and AMD mining rigs have a tendency to crash more than Nvidia unless something is severely wrong with the Nvidia cards. This has reduced the crashes, freezes, and mining rig restarts, but is it worth it? Well yes and no... Yes, because the drive has improved stability and uptime, but No because of the increase in price. I am fairly certain these drives aren't made anymore, and since I originally purchased this device, it has tripled in price. However, I still wanted to share my experience. AMD released a new driver revision, Radeon Adrenalin 2020 Edition, and while this driver is more gamer-focused, we look at it from a mining perspective. The biggest change, in my personal opinion, is the change to Memory clock readings which may throw some miners off. Also, since I use the More Power Tool to get an extra few Mega Hashes, I wanted to warn the mining community about the perceived differences between what you see in the Tool and in your GPU overclocking utility.
