Most women think that they want to lose weight. And many really do. But many don’t realize that it’s not really the weight loss they want; it’s a different body composition. And it would be really nice if changing that body composition would be a healthy thing, right? So how do we do it in a metabolically healthy way?
In this episode, I’m bringing you 5 truths about a female metabolism and body composition. These are not similar to your typical weight loss ads and testimonials that only showcase how many pounds a client lost. This is about understanding that body COMPOSITION change is often different from just weight loss, and that sometimes, your “perfect” body simply weighs more than you thought it “should”.

Many people say: “I want to lose weight”, without realizing that what they really want, is to look better and that means, losing body fat.
Weight loss means that we want the scale weight down no matter how, even if it means losing muscle mass or simply water weight, which often happens on a low carb diet!
But this is not fat loss and this does not change much about the way we look.
When the focus is just on weight loss, without considering the body composition, we often end up with the look that we are not happy with. Many call it the “skinny fat” look.
In today’s episode you’ll learn how to change your body composition so that you are actually happy with the result!

The short answer to this question is No. It's not wrong to want to change your body, and wanting to do it doesn't mean that you're obsessed or don't love yourself.
But this conversation is more detailed, and this is what I'm discussing in today's video.

In this podcast, we're talking about what we have to know about the scale weight.
There are people who say that the number on the scale never matters - that you can be any weight you want, and it won't affect you negatively.
Then there are people who get obsessive about their weight, whereas they have nothing to worry about.
Small fluctuations in your weight are perfectly normal and should not be a reason for worry.
I work with many clients who want to lose body fat, and it's very important that they understand that weight loss and fat loss are not the same thing, and that their body weight fluctuating doesn't mean that they're not making progress.
