Welcome to hair growth check in number 19. Holy moly, when I think about it, it's probably been more than 19 months because there is some periods in there where I've forgotten to do a check in. If you are new, about 20 months ago or maybe 21 months ago I had a disconnected undercut and I grew it all out all myself. And we've been on this hair journey for a very long time and these check ins are kind of just a monthly thing that we do. Okay, so moving on, picking up from where we left off in February my hair was sitting at 15.5 inches. It is now sitting at 16.5. So it's grown another inch over the last month, really, really loving that. My hair over this whole period has grown between half an inch to an inch every single month so my growth's pretty consistent. But yeah, so I'm happy with that. Always happy to grow another inch and I'm always happy to hear about how you guys are going with yours as well. So that's where we're at in terms of growth. I do have a couple of other cool things in the pipeline. We're gonna be trying out laser hair therapy very soon or in a couple of months, I think. I'm doing a bit of negotiating right now. I think it's gonna be really cool to show you guys. I can't wait to get into it and check it out. On top of that, going back to what I said before about The Great Cut. In my last check in I did tell you guys that I might be cutting my hair in March, which would be right now and I needed your guys' support. I kind of left it in your hands to decide whether I would go and cut it or not. The response was more about my airpods that I accidentally left in my ears than it was about the actual cause, which I found kind of funny. I think in the beginning I reacted a little bit badly. I was kind of like, I'm talking about something really serious here and you guys are just making jokes about my earplugs. But essentially, what I wanted to do was go and join The Great Cut that The Longhairs are holding over in San Diego. In today's video I'm gonna be covering how to look expensive for cheap or look good on a budget if you will haha. I was actually going to do a video today about illusions that you can do with men's fashion to make yourself look a little bit better. But just recently I did a massive pickup of cool items, which I will show you later in this video, but the more important thing is how I get to those items because they all, I usually go for things that are really nice looking and are less expensive. If I were to describe my style right now I'm into very florally things, open button-up shirts, like this, and I'm also into that like that whole boho flowy, hipster Barren Bay look, okay. Now, not all of you are going to be into that and that doesn't matter. But this tip that I show you in this video can be used for any style because if you go into these fast-fashion websites that I go to, they've usually got what's hip and what's in right now, and they've usually got it at a decent price or they've usually got good sales on them. The real truth of this is, for what you're not gonna pay in money, you're gonna pay in time. So if you haven't got the money to get the really nice things right now, you're gonna pay for it with your time and what I'm showing you here can be quite time consuming so if you're interested in looking a bit better, but you're limited to a budget, really I would suggest using your time to do this exact thing that I'm gonna show you and if you've got a bit of extra money just buy whatever you want. I don't spend a lot of money on clothes. I'll always go for a sale and very rarely do I buy a full price item. Let's get into it. So fast-fashion: there's way more than where I shop, but the two places that I go to ever, are Zara and ASOS. And every time I visit the ASOS website or go into Zara, there's always something that I see and I go, "Oh, I need that!" Okay, but in saying that, here's my tactic. So I'll always shop around in Zara when I go into the store and I'll have a look at any sales that are on, like have a little peek, look at the price tags on things, and usually when I'm in there, it's only like, what's on sale is what's on sale when I'm in the actual store, right? So it's harder to actually get cheaper items from a fast-fashion place like Zara unless you stalk them online as well. I don't use Zara online. I actually like going into the store and doing it, but that is one way: just looking for the sales. The other way is fast-fashion websites like ASOS. They actually have, like a function on the website, where you can create an account. It's pretty cool the way they've done it because their an eCommerce store, but they've done it like Pinterest almost, where you can put things on a love heart board and it saves them for lat ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFM6CcTRxFA

So, I am due for a trim. I've been saying it for a while that I need to go to the hairdresser, so I'm taking you guys down there today and we're gonna be getting half an inch taken off my hair. But I also thought that it would be cool to ask Josh (my hairdresser) to do a five strand braid for you guys to see. So for those of you who don't know, I mean, some of you know how to braid and some of you don't, but usually a braid will have three strands of hair in it, but a 5 strand is made with five, and Josh is a really clever hairdresser and I love it when he does a five strand braid in my hair... It's like next level lol. This video is also to give you guys some long hair inspiration on your hair growth journeys. Mens long hair is becoming more trendy by the minute and it's important to have an array of long hairstyle ideas that can keep you looking fresh. So if you've never seen a 5 strand braid before make sure you watch till the end of the video because it's going to look really cool.
