04.07.2023-Ukraine. A BLOODY Month of The Ukrainian-NATO OFFENSIVE
From "SoutherFront" One month ago, the long-awaited “counteroffensive” of the Ukrainian military began on the southern fronts of the Zaporozhye, Kherson regions and the DPR. During a month of bloody battles, the AFU managed to take full or partial control over 8 small (abandoned) villages located on the Russian front lines. At the same time, Kiev has demonstrated its "military genius", blowing up the Kakhovka dam, which resulted in an environmental disaster. Dozens of settlements were flooded and dozens of civilians were killed to obtain some military benefits, which they have NOT been able to take full advantage of to this day.
The goal (delusion) of the large-scale summer offensive is to dislodge the Russian forces from the Zaporozhye region as well as to cut off the land connection of the Russian grouping of troops and the Crimea from the Russian Federation.
Apparently, Kiev expected to deliver a crushing blow in several directions at once and reach Melitopol in the first week or two of attacks. The US-Ukie-NATO command had high hopes for the inferiority in numbers of its troops, trained and armed by NATO and provided with Western intelligence.
Summing up the first results, Kiev clearly underestimated the readiness of the Russian military and are getting slaughtered on an industrial scale.
The latest report/update from SouthernFront. This episode deals w/ the humiliating defeats of NATO-AFU forces in the latest attacks on Russia. Massive amounts of men and material from USUKEU-NATO and Ukienaziland have been destroyed.

Kiev is awaiting another escalation in the upcoming Russian summer campaign. Unable to predict the direction of Russian attacks, the Ukrainian military is forced to urgently redeploy strategic reserves, relying only on NATO assistance.
The Russian military continues constant precision strikes in the Ukrainian rear, destroying reserves and thwarting plans of the Ukrainian command.
On the night of 28 May, a new wave of explosions thundered far from the frontlines. Russian kamikaze UAVs targeted Ukrainian military facilities in the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region and in the Cherkassy region, where Ukrainian sources reported damage to military warehouses and facilities used for repair of military equipment.
Meanwhile, Russian aircraft are busy pounding the Ukrainian military in the war-torn regions. Ukrainian reserve units came under attack in the area of Borovaya in the Kharkiv region, while the Ukrainian garrison in the south of Volchansk was hit by Russian arial bombing attacks.
The Ukrainian command is sending more and more reinforcements to the Kharkiv region, diluting its defense in other directions. Most recently, amphibious assault units from the lost Rabotino and marines from Krynki were sent to the northern front.
After the fraud with the defensive line in the border areas was revealed by the rapid Russian offensive, Kiev was forced to play the role of punishing the culprits. The usual officers responsible for the border defenses were blamed guilty, while the theft of billions of dollars devoted for multistory concrete fortifications was silenced in order to hide the crimes of high-ranking officials from Zelensky’s entourage.
As a result, Ukrainian defensive operations are headed by butchers who throw more and more units into the meat grinder in Volchansk and Liptsy.
Unable to effectively hold its defenses on the extended frontlines, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are rapidly retreating in different directions, including in the Kupyansk, Chasov Yar, Avdeevka and Mariinka areas.
Another major victory of the Russian army was the liberation of Netailovo after heavy prolonged battles in the ruins. Ukrainian military sources admit that the Russians are advancing to the west and south of the town.
At the same time, reports from the frontlines confirm Russian control of Umanskoe, the last stronghold of the Ukrainian defense west of Avdeevka.
The Ukrainian military has no forces available to gain back the military initiative, while the Russians do not stop assaulting, probing the Ukrainian defenses.
Retreating in the Donbass, Kiev is shackled, awaiting for a possible Russian offensive in the northern Sumy region, where Russian forces continue some local operations in the border areas along with constant strikes on Ukrainian positions in the region.
The last hope for Kiev is NATO, which is equipping Ukrainian reserve units and prepares to enter the battlefields in the case of a Russian breakthrough.

Amid the ongoing bloody battles, Zelensky gathered his friends in Switzerland for his “summit on peace”, the main conclusion of which was the impossibility of any discussion without Moscow.
While empty conversations continue in Europe, the Russian army is grinding the Ukrainian defenses in different directions and has achieved new gains on the Ukrainian battlefields.
On the night of 17 June, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched devastating strikes on the Ukrainian rear. In particular, the temporary points of deployment for the Ukrainian military in the Kharkiv region were destroyed. A Russian bomb hit a children’s camp in the Shevchenko district. Of course, the Ukrainian authorities announced an alleged attack on another civilian facility. In fact, the precision strike destroyed a building full of Ukrainian servicemen and foreign militants.
Kharkiv remains one of the directions inflamed by tense battles. On the eve of Zelensky’s conference, the Ukrainian army was forced to throw significant forces into heavy counterattacks there. However, they could not boast of any success to their Western patrons. Intense fighting continues in Volchansk. The Ukrainian military is trying to transfer reserves across the river in the city and on its outskirts. Despite heavy losses, they are yet to achieve significant success.
In the area of the town of Liptsy, Russian units were forced to retreat last week and hold defense on the outskirts of Glubokoe, but subsequent attacks by the Ukrainian military using NATO armored vehicles can no longer change the front line near the village and only result in growing Ukrainian and NATO losses. The ongoing attempts to find a weak spot in the Russian defense are not yet yielding any results.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian military resources are sounding the alarm, declaring the intensification of Russian offensive operations along the entire front line in the Avdeevka direction from the Karlov reservoir in the south to the village of Kalinovo in the north.
After the liberation of Novoaleksandrovka, Russian forces expanded the zone of their control to the south, west and northwest of the settlement.
The assault on the Canal district continues in Chasov Yar. Most of the crossings over the Seversky Donets Canal have been destroyed. Ukrainian servicemen are trying to maintain control over the remaining high-rise buildings under heavy Russian fire. Most of the district came under the control of Russian paratroopers.
According to preliminary reports in the Mariinka direction, the Russian army took control of Georgievka and entered Maximilianovka.
The frontlines are also moving in the Zaporozhie region. On 16 June, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed full control of the village of Zagornoe.
In the Kherson region, Russian forces have recently taken control of several important islands in the Dnieper River, which is secured by their small infantry groups.

The battle for Avdiivka began in October of last year. Despite significant successes around the city, the Russian military has failed to surround the large enemy stronghold so far. However, this did not stop the Russian advance and last week was marked by new Russian victories inside Avdiivka itself.
Despite the attempts of the Ukrainian General Staff to refute the reports on the Russian breakthrough, referring to them as ‘Russian propaganda’, Ukrainian sources were the first to reveal the details of the Russian military operations in the city. They were soon confirmed by Russian sources.
The Ukrainian defense in the south-eastern part of the city was destroyed as a result of a risky and unique Russian operation.
The servicemen of various Russian units had been preparing the operation for several weeks. They sawed open passages in an old flooded underground pipe, which was less than a meter in diameter. The pipe passed under the railway, right under the Ukrainian positions and led to the residential quarters. Special equipment, including oxygen cylinders, were delivered to the front. Special air ducts were made in the pipe, the necessary military equipment and ammunition were hidden inside. The operation was carried out under heavy fire from Russian artillery aimed at avoiding detection of the underground forces.
As a result, the operation ended with success. A group of about 150 Russian servicemen passed more than 2 km in the icy water in the pipe and suddenly attacked from behind the enemy’s back. The Ukrainian military even did not understand where the Russian fighters came from.
At the same time on the surface, the Ukrainian positions were attacked by three reconnaissance and assault detachments of the ‘Veterans’ volunteer brigade.
As a result of the sudden attack, the Ukrainian stronghold in the area of the resort Tsarskaya Ohota was destroyed in several hours. The Ukrainian army suffered sensitive losses; a lot of Ukrainian servicemen were captured and became prisoners.
The successful operation allowed the Russian military to gain a foothold in the southeastern part of Avdeevka and enter the city streets. They advanced along the streets of Grushevskogo, Chernishevskogo and Sportivnaya and reached the southern part of Sobornaya street.
The advance in the area was also possible due to the recent Russian victory on the territory of the former air defense military base located on Donetsk road. After prolonged battles, Russian forces took control of this strategically-important Ukrainian stronghold, to the west of which there are open field areas, where the retreating Ukrainian units have no place to hide.
According to preliminary reports, the battles already reached the 9th district in the south of Avdeevka. It is a complex of high-rise buildings, control of which will allow Russian forces to control almost the entire city, increasing losses of the defending Ukrainian grouping.
Conducting MopUp Operations in the city of Avdiivka.
Russian forces captured a lot of Ukrainian fighter. The number of Ukrainian prisoners is so high that there is no enough place in prisons for them. Abandoned corpses of Ukrainian servicemen are yet to be collected, as usual.

It is reported that Spetsnaz GRU began operating in the zone of a special military operation, which literally opened the hunting season for NATO officers and Ukrainian generals. At the same time, it is worth noting that General Syrsky also confirmed that Russian Spetsnaz GRU is actively operating in the Bakhmut direction. According to him, the Russian command uses Spetsnaz GRU not only in offensive operations but also for special operations deep into Ukrainian territory.
My Comment:
For those who do not know, that little famous group that caused the West to collectively wet its pants, called "Wagner",
100% BELONGED to the Ru MoD GRU (old term-but that is what I will use forever). That is 100% GRU owned and operated.
With that said, MANY other Spetsnaz Officers from varying Depts (FSB, SVD, OMON, SOBR) have served in the ranks of Wagner.
The lessons learned since 2014, including time in Syria are now being, (and has been) taught to all other Ru MoD groups to a devastating effect in Ukienaziland.
The warmongering West is ready to launch new wave of military supplies to Ukraine, while the Kiev’s military is defeated on the frontlines. The long-awaited counteroffensive failed but NATO does not stop and is rearming Ukrainian servicemen with new “game-changing” weapons for more offensive operation in autumn.
The US assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics, and technology Douglas Ross Bush declared that over the weekend the first batch of Abrams tanks was finally approved for shipment to Ukraine. The tanks together with all necessary equipment should arrive by the beginning of autumn.
Although various sources report that more than a dozen Abrams tanks are already in Ukraine.
Kiev will not receive the M1A2 modification but more obsolete M1A1s. 31 tanks are intended for Ukraine. This correspond to one tank battalion. In the current situation, this is not enough to compensate the large losses of the Ukrainian military.
On the night of April 9, Russian forces continue targeted destruction of military facilities and related enterprises in the territories controlled by the Kiev regime.
Russian strikes hit targets in the Poltava region. As a result of the attack, the local facility of the fuel and energy complex was heavily damaged. More Russian strikes destroyed a number of targets in the Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa regions.
UAV arrivals were reported at Ukrainian military faiclities in Kamenskoye and in the city of Konstantinovka in the east of the country.
Several explosions thundered in the border areas of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
On the night of 9 April, drones of the Kiev regime were again launched to the Russian rear areas. One of the Ukrainian UAVs crashed in the Voronezh region.
The Zaporizhia nuclear Power Plant which is under Russian control has come under another attack of Ukrainian drones. A Ukrainian UAV attacked a unique simulator of the reactor hall of a nuclear power plant. The roof of the building was damaged. Fortunately, none of the station’s staff or the soldiers guarding it were injured.
In recent days, Ukrainian troops have been regularly attacking the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant with unmanned aerial vehicles. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi has admitted that the nuclear power plant was already close to a nuclear accident during the April 7 drone attack; but the Kiev regime ignores all warnings about the danger of the consequences of its attacks.
The Russian army, overcoming fierce resistance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, continues to push the enemy in several directions on the front.
Ukrainian forces are retreating in the Seversk direction in the north. According to preliminary reports, the Ukrainian army began withdrawing from military positions in the village of Belogorovka, where prolonged fighting continued on the outskirts, including in the chalk dump. Earlier, Russian units took control of a local chalk factory, which served as an important Ukrainian stronghold in the area. Control over Belogorovka paves the way for further offensive on Seversk, and the heights there allow them to establish fire control over vast territories.
In the Avdeevka direction, units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated the Ukrainian garrison and took the full control of the town of Pervomaiskoe. There has been no official confirmation yet, but Ukrainian sources also admit that Ukrainian forces have been withdrawn to reserve positions near Netailovo.
Russian troops also continue to advance on Chasov Yar, bypassing it from the north and south amid ongoing assault from the east. Successful flank attacks make it possible to increase fire control over Ukrainian positions in the town, which, in turn, destroys the stronghold, facilitating the assault.
