In marketing toward a cultural left, do corporations inadvertently undermine capitalism and provide cover for socialist forces?
Jeffrey Tucker joins CMA to discuss the role that corporations play in shaping our government and society.
He argues that the largest companies are often the least supportive of laissez faire capitalism. Regulators keep more agile, upstart competitors at bay, while established corporations have have the resources to comply with new rules and work with the government.
Jeffrey emphasizes the need for intellectuals to educate business elites about the ultimate morality of a truly free market.
He also discusses Trump's anti business sentiment, the trade war, and why lobsters are so affordable.

Here’s hoping a desire for near-term comfort from competition, criticism, and the markets doesn’t do to Big Tech what was done to Big Rail. Time will tell. But for now, it seems Big Tech is intent on traveling a path toward average that was first paved by the 19th century’s most innovative minds.
