Some final thoughts
Afraid to go to AA, trust your instinct and stay away from it.
Their indoctrination and brainwashing that you are powerless over your own life, and that you have a non-curable progressive malady or disease, will leave you confused and could actually cause you to lose good friends, drink more than you ever have, only to go back a cult that doesn't give a fuck whether you commit suicide or die homeless on the streets. They will just say you couldn't get honest and work the steps.
Instead chose to be satisfied that you are sober today due to your own willpower, don't beat yourself up over yesterday, and don't worry that you will end up drunk again if you don't count your days and don't work the steps with some unqualified self proclaimed alcoholic that operates under the guise of one alcoholic helping another.

Someone left a comment to the effect of how can I talk about such a "well meaning program", the way I do in these videos? Bill W. was a womanizing, liar, and a thief. The cult he created with Dr. Bob was
1. Based on a lie about a guy who, actually had a drug induced hallucination in a 1930's hospital, who thought he was chosen by God.
2. Infamous for 13th stepping which is what Bill W was.
3. Bill W. A lying thieving stockbroker who had a huge financial stake in AA's success.
