7/29/21- A Minnesota woman, America Thayer, was “sleepy hollowed” in broad daylight. America Thayer, 55, worked at Dollar Tree and MyPillow. Police Say The Incident Wasn't A Random Act. According to the Shakopee Police Department, the incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Spencer Street. A 55-year-old woman, identified as America Mafalda Thayer of Shakopee, was found on the sidewalk near the intersection and pronounced no longer with us at the scene. Update- Alexis Saborit, 42, has arrested on 2nd degree murder charges “Shakopee PD has confirmed that Alexis Saborit is in custody related to yesterday's homicide in which it appeared the victim was beheaded. As we alluded last night, Saborit was ordered to have a mental illness evaluation related to arson charges last fall. Despite the court's observation & his defense's claim that Saborit was mentally ill, he was released on bail. This spring, his conditional release was ordered revoked & a court doc claimed he was a danger to people & community. Judge Richard C. Perkins ordered him released. A coworker said the victim had been in a long-term relationship with the suspect and domestic abuse had been a consistent problem. Court records reveal the suspect was convicted on domestic assault charges in 2017 and was currently facing arson charges for allegedly trying to burn his apartment down in 2020. ————————————————- Check Out What’s Going On Join patriots.win
