In this episode of Sound Speeds I answer a question sent in from a viewer. The question - are you better off recording voice-overs for a vlog with an external camera mic or a cheap large diaphragm condenser.
In order to tackle this video, I have to go over a few things that you need to know regardless of what mic you use. From the environment you're recording in to the tonal quality of your voice when you're sick, it all matters.
By the end of this video, you'll know how to determine which mic is going to be right for your project.
