Ian thinks the idea is interesting but it isn't ideally developed yet. There is too much delay in the optic turning on, which will rule out any sort of military usage.

Stage 3 - Rapid transitions between pistol and rifle under time stress!
This video is also part 3 the 2G-ACM match in which we're shooting the CETME-L rifles that we hand built ourselves using an HMG builder's kit.
This really is the test of our work, will the guns run? Are they reliable? Accurate? Also, what's the CETME-L like to use on the clock? That's what these 2G-ACM stages were used for to find out.
If you didn't see our multi-part series in which we built these rifles from parts kits, check it out: https://www.full30.com/search/Cetme%20l

The 1860 Henry is fast and handy with minimal recoil, firing a 200 grain bullet at ~1150fps.
The 1865 Spencer is slower but fires a 350 grain bullet at ~1250fps.
The Spencer is almost exactly double the ftlbs of energy of the Henry per round fired; how do these guns match up head to head?

If you wanted to purchase a wholly American manufactured RDS, what are your options?
We plan to address this question in an ongoing series here on InRange, starting with this final review of the Leupold Freedom RDS in its "Blackring" hardened iteration.

Justice Roy Bean was a grifter and a fraud, enacting "law" for fun and profit; his rulings were atrocious and therefore he became a hero of the old west and legend. :/

We already tested 308AP and 54R API against a single plate, both zipped right through with little concern.
In this video we intend to find out what is going on with the projectile after it makes it through that first plate by placing a 2nd plate directly behind the first.

With the recent debacle over EOTech sights, the market has been left open for new options in the holographic red dot realm, and Vortex is introducing a new optic to fill that demand: the Razor AMG UH-1.
