We do not commemorate non-Orthodox in funeral services. What are we to think of this? It is very simple. It is also simple to know what to do regarding suicides. A clip (from 10:43 – 14:04) of a sermon on the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost, All Saints of Russia (https://youtu.be/IR_r_5uonwk)

On a day full of great joys, because of the baptism of two infants (and aunt and nephew!), we talk about the purposeful touch of the woman with an issue of blood. Many people touch Christ, but few touch with purposeful touch. These infants have touched Christ, and we touch Christ daily. What must we do to ensure that our touch is purposeful and that these infants are taught to purposefully touch Christ? They are our responsibility now, since we have witnessed their baptisms. Teaching from St George the Chozebite which applies to our day: “Even if someone were able to make heaven and earth anew, but regarded his neighbor with proud contempt, he would labour in vain and his portion would be with the hypocrites (cf. Matt. 24:51). A man cannot approach God unless he is at peace with his neighbor. The sins and passions all have pride as their common source and they lead to death; while obedience and submission to the Lord are life, joy and light.”

Romans 10: 1-10, Matthew 8:28-9:1 Three rhetorical questions are asked in today’s readings that we must strive to answer.
“Who will ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above)”
“Who will descend into the abyss? (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead)”
“What have we to do with you, Jesus, you Son of God?”
Paul points out the insufficiency of the Law for salvation. Only Jesus saves, not any rule of life. To come to salvation requires struggle, and a daily effort to rid ourselves of the distraction and spiritual blindness of sin, which keeps us from realizing the intimate presence of God in our hearts.
