How to Make a Vinaigrette - Basil Vinaigrette Salad Dressing. This is a pretty basic vinaigrette salad dressing. You can add pretty much any herbs or spices to this and it should be great. Yes, I left out the mustard. What does that change? Well, it 'might' not thicken as much or 'might' separate more over time. If I had the mustard handy, I'd add it, but only a half teaspoon or so. Other than that, just make this. Use it on salads, sandwiches or, to fry your burgers in!

Everyone can learn how to make Kimchi at home. It's just fermented cabbage with some other vegetables. It's a pickle! There are a zillion ways to make it and we do NOt claim this as the best or only way to make kimchi. It's been made for centuries, and we've made it a dozen times or so.... But... it's a great recipe, and as kimchi goes, a great way to start. We regularly eat this recipe for kimchi and use it all the time as a garnish or condiment. Homemade kimchi requires very few tools, only a few ingredients and some time. Follow our recipe and our directions and you will have an awesome homemade kimchi in just a few weeks!

My easy zucchini bread recipe. Yes, it uses zucchini, yes, it's really easy, and yes, zucchini bread is really, really good. Zucchini are such a versatile veggie really. Fry them, roast them, put them in pasta, etc... But in baked goods..., they shine. They add some nutrition, but zucchini also add moisture and a touch of texture to the bread. In short, zucchini bread is the greatest dessert bread you can make. It's a bit like carrot cake, but it's a bread.
Zucchini bread freezes well too. Wrap in plastic wrap, put in a sealable bag and freeze it. Let it defrost to room temp and your zucchini bread will be good as new.
Ingredients:
3 cups (390 grams) Flour
1 cup (200 grams) White Sugar
1 cup (230 grams) Brown Sugar
2 Large Eggs
1/2 cup (110 grams) Butter
2 cups (230 grams) Grated Zucchini
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Powder

The AeroPress, the odd, plastic device that you've undoubtedly bought or at least seen in a store. I was dubious about it for years. Finally, Derica's brother gave me one and... I gotta say, I'm impressed! It's simple design, efficient methodology, small size and easy cleanup makes for an attractive package. How to Make Ravioli - Meat Ravioli. Beef, it's what's for dinner! We made these meat ravioli with beef, but you can use pork or a combination of beef and pork or even veal. These are pretty simple, handmade ravioli. The pasta used can be made into a variety of shapes all on its own and the meat filling makes great meatballs to go with those pasta shapes! These homemade ravioli are Brian's favorite thing, well, aside from Derica, and sushi, and burgers... well, it's one of his favorite things! We make a bunch and freeze them so we always have some on hand. The ravioli cook up in just about 10 minutes in boiling salted water and you can serve them pretty much any way you like. We have done butter, olive oil, tomato sauce, carmelized onions, bacon, herbs... the sky is the limit. So go ahead and try making some meat ravioli yourself. We explain every step of the way, and you don't need any fancy tools, though they do make it go a little faster.
