You've been asking for her for a LOOONG time guys. And it's finally time.
Although we were super bummed that the Red Centre Nationals trip had to be cancelled due to *You Know What*... We still had annual leave booked! So that freed up a few days for us to get into the shed, and get stuck into Kurt's VR BT1 Project!
So... Time to get stuck into smoothing the engine bay, which if you're familiar with the VN-VS Commodores, you'll know its no walk in the park. But, we're going to crack out the grinder, fire up the welder, and beg, borrow and steal the painting gear we need to have our first attempt at spraying on a car. This should be interesting!!

Well, to be honest, the factory gave us a pretty good head start!
Kurt is going to give you all a rundown on how OEM Holden 304 cast exhaust manifolds, only a couple hundred dollars in schedule 40 steam pipe, and a Bunnings or harbour freight or mig welder will have you damn near close to a home brewed junkyard turbo system capable of running into the 8s in the right hands.

It's the Remix to Ignition...wiring. Yep, this 411ci Procharged SBF needs some spark, so... here goes! Today we'll unbox the MSD 6AL-2 Programmable ignition box, wire it into the car, and show you some of the features of the MSD Graph View Pro-Data+ Software. This will allow us to create a boost retard map and pull timing when that F1R Procharger is SCREEEAMIN to keep things nice and safe.
Here's the ignition setup we're using;

MSD8378 Billet Crank Trigger Distributor
MSD8640 Crank Trigger kit (Suit SBF)
MSD23131 Bosch style 3-bar MAP sensor

Welcome back to the Fabrication Station! Shot this video solo while Jeff was away, so dont be too rough on a bloke, ok? haha! Been off the torch for a couple months so once again its time to prep some filler rods, sharpen the tungsten, and fire up the TIG!
Today i'm showing you guys my process on fabricating an oil catch can, in this case for our buddy Cam's 1000+ HP barra powered FPV F6 R-Spec. I'll also share a couple of cheeky top tips for those thinking they might like to try their hand at Aluminium TIG welding. Remember; you don't need to aim for flawless weld porn instagram dime stacks. So long as you get it penetrated and sealed, she's good to go!
