https://africafreak.com/namib-desert Hitchhiking to the middle of the Namib desert (and back). This is definitely an option if you don’t have a car or want a tour.
Hitchhiking is how many of the locals get around in Namibia. When there is so little traffic almost everyone stops to pick up passengers. They usually ask for a few dollars as contribution for the fuel.
Make a visit here and you truly connect with your wild side.

https://africafreak.com/dik-dik If you're wondering what a Kirk's dik-dik looks like, the above video will give you the answer. And no, despite what some people think it is not pronounced "xylophone"! :-) ;-)
The Kirk's dik-dik is one of the smallest antelope species in the world, and is usually found in pairs. The female has no horns, but is somewhat larger than the male.
These two individuals were filmed in Tarangire National Park, Tanzania.

https://africafreak.com/how-fast-can-a-hippo-run Wondering how fast can hippos run? These huge males definitely mean business as they chase each other along the riverbank, at full speed.
Despite being the third-largest land mammal on earth, hippos can probably run faster than you (30 km/h on land). They are highly territorial animals and won't hesitate to charge anyone who stands between them and the water.
Did you notice the poor croc getting out of the way towards the end? :-)
This special hippo running footage was filmed in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.
