Not far from the more impressive sight of Shiraito no Taki waterfall, Jinba no Taki offers a cozier, more personable experience. Unlike Shiraito no Taki, you can enter the water in Jinba no Taki. Take your shoes off and wade into the cold, crystal clear water. There is plenty of shade, and the air is cooled by the water. Located in the outskirts of Fujinomiya, this is a cool retreat from a hot summer's day.

I was asked to make this model for my friend's son in Australia. It is an older car model, and I suspect it was manufactured prior to the mid-'90s since it is a bit primitive. I've never built a Doyusha model before, so I wouldn't know.

I decided to build up both the 2199 and classic Yamato Mecha Collection kits by Bandai to do a side-by-side comparison of old vs. new. Some may not think much of these Mecha Collection (Mekakore) kits, but the level of detail that Bandai has squeezed into these kits is incredible.
RebelsAtCloudNine has already done a more detailed build-up of just the 2199 version. Be sure to watch those videos or I'm not your friend anymore. Here's his first build video:
