Quick Demo: Yadif vs QTGMC Deinterlace, and Lanczos vs NNEDI3 RPow2 Scaling.
The first clip is repeated 3 times, firstly with Yadif 2x deinterlacing and Lanczos scaling. Second up is QTGMC deinterlacing with Lanczos scaling, and finally QTGMC deinterlacing with NNEDI3 RPow2 scaling. The next couple of clips alternate between the different versions.
The QTGMC is the best deinterlacer by far, and the RPow2 seems to do a better job of upscaling than Lanczos.
The video was originally recorded on a MiniDV camcorder.
Anti-Immigration protesters stage a demonstration against housing asylum seekers in hotels, while Yorkshire Against Hate stages a counter-demonstration, stating "refugees are welcome here". This video shows some speeches from both sides, including Alek Yerbury, who describes refugees as "parasites". I also capture some chance interactions with protesters and the general public, all while Antifa make a complete fool of themselves.
I unbox and test a mystery Sony camcorder from eBay.

Sheffield CAZ campaigners are concerned that the charges may be applied to private cars in the future, and want to see existing charges for commercial vehicles scrapped.
Part 2: Speeches and Protest March. Speeches include a man from Stagecoach buses about "fire & rehire" practises, a retired GP who has worked as a contact tracer, and a speech about racism. Followed by a march round the city centre with the Extinction Rebellion samba band and their skeleton.
I go for a little wander round Rotherham, then head up to Sheffield to see a protest about solidarity with Cuba and Palestine, followed by a look at messages in support of Cole Brothers aka John Lewis, followed by a trip to Endcliffe Park for another Kill the Bill meeting. Presented in glorious Super VHS.
