Did Creation Only Take Six Days?
30X2 Video: There are Christians who want evolution and an old earth to be a part of the Bible. To do that requires taking the word day in Genesis 1, that's the word “yom” in Hebrew, to mean something other than a 24- hour day.
A study of “yom” and the structure of Genesis reveals it is a historical narrative and “yom” in Genesis 1 means a 24-hour day. But that eliminates the possibility of evolution being true... so there are some Christians who refuse to believe thist. That means they must also reject a plain reading of Exodus 20:11
“For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.”
Claiming that Genesis 1 does not mean what it plainly says, causes problems throughout scripture. God spoke clearly in Genesis one... telling us He created everything in six 24-hour days.

If God created everything, then why aren't dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible? They are...but the word dinosaur is not used... it's a word that was not invented until 1841. Dinosaurs are land animals so they were created on Day six when all the other land animals were created. For example, Job 40 describes an animal called behemoth which appears to be a sauropod dinosaur. In most cases the word dragon is used in the bible for the animal we call a dinosaur.

I'm often told that I'm an idiot. I'm just a pastor with some scientific knowledge. How dare I tell a PhD scientist their science is wrong! I'm told, that in my videos I'm not presenting all the information. No scientist would actually make the errors I'm describing. They'd have to be blind. In saying this, what they don't understand is that this is a spiritual battle.
“Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 6:12
How does God say everyone known He is real? Romans 1... through His creation. What is evolution about? Getting people to believe they can not see God in creation.
This is a spiritual battle. And those who believe in evolution are blind. “The god of this age has blinded their minds” (2 Corinthians 4:4) so they reject God and reject the true gospel.
Christian, don't willingly blind yourself.

Is there a time gap in Genesis chapter one, between the first and second verses, in which evolution took place and created the fossil record we see today? No. That's a made-up story. If you believe in the Bible you know this is a story that puts death before the fall, and thus makes the cross of no value... Jesus died for nothing. The gap theory exists as a feel-good fiction for those who wish to insert unscientific beliefs about evolution into the Bible.

IF mutations were causing us to evolve and get better there would be lines to buy radioactive waste. We know mutations are harmful. Mutations destroy DNA, they don't improve it. Going to the Smithsonian's Human Origins web site we see this as the tree of human evolution. What do you notice about this tree? It's circled here in red. There are no fossils at the branch points. If we get rid all of the parts of the tree where there are no fossils... we see there are no transitions. All the missing links are still missing. Each bush is defined as a human related species. But who invented species? Not God. That's a human classification based on evolution.

In 2004 Douglas Axe, a molecular biologist, proved evolution is impossible. In his words, “evolutionary biologists would be compelled to hang 'out of business' signs on their doors.” He showed that accidental processes require 10 to 74th power opportunities to produce one good protein sequence. Anything above 10 to 40th is impossible. Life is built on proteins and proteins don't just happen... he proved evolution is impossible.

During the global flood great forces were released and the rising waters were chaotic and violent.. but not everywhere all the time. As explained by Michael Oard's "Briefly Exposed Diluvial Sediments" hypothesis, there were places that were submerged, covered by sediment, and then they re-emerged for a time. This explains how dinosaur tracks, eggs and bones were deposited on freshly exposed flat flood sediments, as we see in the fossil record.

When we look at fossils we see things that don't make sense... unless there was a global flood. For example, marine fossils are found everywhere on earth, including the top of Mt. Everest. And it is common that fossils of land animals are found with marine fossils mixed in. And the marine fossils are interesting... for example, there are billions of clam fossils, almost all are closed. They had to be buried so deep and so quickly that they could not dig themselves out.
