The El Charro restaurant opened in 1947 and had the best Mexican food we ever ate. Kathy and I and her family went there for years. The restaurant's landlord refused to sell the people who ran the restaurant the building so it sadly closed yesterday & dozens of people showed up to order a last meal to take home. We were lucky to get there and have one more great meal and are sorry to see it go.
